Hey y'all I'm a 19 y-o male. I've been PMOing since I was 12 but seen P even before that due to childish curiosity and recklessness on my father's side to hide the DVD he was "holding onto for a friend".

So far P hasn't had a huge impact on my life that I can notice but that's why I'm wary- because what if it does harm underneath the surface? (Spoiler: it probably does)
Sometimes I have troubles when I'm with my gf intimately but I think that's more my head's fault rather than P but I can't know for certain till I go longer on this journey.

I've decided to quit PM because of the obvious reasons everyone talks about but also my own recently developed thought that... It's just weird. However, my main reason why I've been really set on quitting for good is something my Chemistry teacher said and it really resonated with me:

"If you're hungry, you don't go and watch a video of someone eating a sandwich."

My personal reboot parameters are just no PM.

Thanks for taking the time to read my intro. If you're a newbie to this too or wanna talk to someone I'd love to chat or have some sort of correspondence :)

Welcome to NoFap, bro. We're glad to have you here. If you're having problems getting an erection when you are with your girlfriend, it may be that you are suffering from PIED (pornography induced erectile dysfunction). No need to panic, though. It's quite a common problem; lots of guys here have PIED. Sometimes a man can be so addicted to pornography that they are unable to get an erection via regular sex. I don't have PIED, so I don't have first hand knowledge, but I know that many people here have been victorious when they've stopped viewing pornography and masturbating.

It can be treated, in other words. You're not hopeless.
