Hello. For last five years, I have been dealing with depression and loneliness. I think that in order to get out of this state or at least alleviate my pain, I need to make several changes in my life. Socialise more often, do sports regularly, and make changes in my thinking by means of reading self-help books.

I decided to stop watching porn because of scientific evidence on YBOP website proving that porn addiction is detrimental to our well-being. But really, I had known this all the way along. I felt bad for using porn, because with time it stopped to be a pleasure and started to feel like obligation which I couldn't stop, even though I tried. Porn made me unable to reach orgasm when having sex with a beautiful woman (who was a prostitute - I wasn't able to make a real connection...) Finally, porn changed my perception of sexuality and kept me from changing my life. We live in strange times, when kids discover porn in primary school and so rather than interact with their female classmates, they prefer to stay in their rooms and jerk off. I can't change the times we live in, but I can definitely try to change myself!

Hi @He_was_a_quiet_man, welcome to Nofap! I've had issues with loneliness myself, and porn has changed who I was too. We're all here to change ourselves, so good luck and wish you the best.
