I'm 6 days away from 200 days and I'm a different person. I've fallen in love, had sex, done things I always wanted to, mostly thanks to this. I even consider rebooting near 200 days, because it doesn't seem wrong like it did during 30 - 150 days in.

To me, nofap was half the help, doing acid and heavily evaluating myself and my life was the second thing that helped me get here. Not to forget determination. And a hobby to get by, so I have more time for that, and less for jerking off, which I come to appreciate too, thus just feeling very good in a sort of loop.

Quitting porn was hard, but punishing when I failed. A lot of reality checks will get you by very well.

Safe to say I wish I had come across this before.

    Hey man,
Spiritual exploration via hallucinating has been going on for millennia.

Oh yeah my dude. I just thought maybe this is a bit too graphic and detailed, I tend to do that, can't help it. I love acid tho it's become so important to me. Within limits obviously.

Been there before; within limits is the operative term. Be careful.

Big congratulations. I'd been thinking of doing Ayuhuasca or especially Ibogaine, both hallucinogens that are supposed to help in beating addiction, because my PMO problem had been so severe.

For me it was good old weed that sparked the inspiration to go nofap :D the inspiration has stuck for almost two years now. Psychedelics can be powerful and useful substances when used in moderation

  10. I'm thinking of doing a mushroom trip to try and help with resetting my mind during this reboot. Only thing is that I'm scared to do it alone, but I think it's the only way if you want to focus on yourself. Last time I tripped was 15 years ago with a few buddies. It was a blast, but I don't know what to expect this time around as it will be for a whole different purpose.

i was actually looking into microdosing with mushrooms, but since this nofap thing is pretty great on it's own, i'm putting it off for now so i can get an accurate read on this.

i think acid/shrooms/whatever can really trigger profound and positive life changing moves. i haven't done the "work" as in heroic doses, low light, classical music. But i've had those moments at shows (showments!) or with friends on a camping trip.

    best of luck man!

  12. I know about those moments. Ah the good old days.. I've experimented with micro dosing. Can be nice, but can get a bit unpredictable when pushing the dose. I found the best results with a small dose, about .2g. The effects are very subtle, almost hard to detect, but I always had a pleasant day with great energy and focus. but it's no miracle cure for anything, you still have to put in the work to make real changes.

  13. Guys please don't encourage people to do illegal drugs, this shit is properly dangerous and not bloody worth it.

I started microdosing LSD 3 weeks ago; that same day I gave up red meat, and 2 weeks ago I began my NoFap reboot after 14ish years of near-daily PMO. Introspection and reality checks, along with willpower, can lead to very substantial life changes.

Of course, read thoroughly on the topic and do not attempt to do it if you are unprepared. This post should not be considered an endorsement for such practices.

What the hell are you talking about? I just said smoking some weed gave me the inspiration to quit fapping. Learn to read, douchebag.

It's a shame that people come to NF to combat and hopefully overcome one addiction only to have doors opened for other potential addictions.

We can sit here and argue semantics all day but I remember very well rationalising with myself that my P addiction was "under control".

I don't care what the vice is, P, drugs, whatever the moment you dabble even a little bit you're leaving yourself open for the enemy's assault. Let's help better ourselves not contribute further to each other's failure!
