Ok, so I'm 93 days in on nofap and I'll be perfectly honest I've never had a wet dream ever in my life until 3 minutes ago where I literally woke up. I'm 19 years old and I never had a wet dream until now and honestly I don't what the fuck just happened. I'm a little bit curious as to why this happened I mean I had an explicit dream to say the least but still I don't understand why this didn't happen to me when I was younger. I think maybe because I abused myself with so much pmo my mind didn't crave it as much when I was little now that I've gone 3 months and my brain is rewiring my mind is going into hyperdrive with explicit dreams and other things any advice or info would be nice.

  2. Simply put: they happen because you don't ejaculate. Your body will need to release excessive fluids at some point in time. See how smart the body really is? It won't generate a wet dream if it knows that you've been ejaculating yourself. That's why you haven't had one up until now. The body is a super intelligent, fantastic thing... It's literally your home so always respect it bro. You only have one, and habits like pmo totally work against you and your body.

Wet dreams can be a good thing, they aren't necessarily bad, because now you are forcing your body to release on its own, which is definitely more natural than fapping away the good stuff.
Personally I don't like wet dreams at all, you'll find that they can exhaust you if they happen too frequently. Avoid stimulating foods at night.
Also I wouldn't think of it as a sign that your body can handle pmo again. Wet dreams and pmo are totally different. In my opinion they can be the result of a craving mind, so you should try to not have lustful thoughts during the day. This is easier said than done especially as time goes on, but it's just a matter of time and change. What we dream at night often is a result of what we've experienced during the day. Don't dwell on it, as they happen when you are asleep you have little to no control over them. Think of them as a sign of recovery for now. If they happen to frequently as in some men, including me, you'll find that you start thinking of them as a weakness. They tend to happen at irregular times, you can go months without them to then find yourself having them twice a week, really weird. I personally dislike them because they can take energy from you, like pmo, albeit not as badly.

Congratulations on your first wet dream though, it's a sign of change after all.

Wet dreams can be disapointing because it gives the feeling you have lost control on your body. My vision is that your body take back the control instead that P and M having the control of it.
    Happy dreams.
