Cutting porn and sex depends on your outlook. Some people may find it "beneficial" to look at porn, however me personally and the general community of this site frown upon it. It has very negetive effects which including rewiring your brain to enjoy things less due to excessive dopamine kicks. I don't read here too often, but I think www.yourbrainonporn.com has articles about it if you're interested. As for sex, it depends on you. Many people give up sex until they reboot (reboot basically means when pmo is totally out of your life and you are back to "default" settings) in order to reset their sexuality and and go completely and totally back to the way it should be. Hope I helped you out and welcome to NoFap.

Yeah I've also been very curious about where the line for "addiction" is. At the beginning I did not feel like I was addicted, and I did very well, however when I relapsed I became a bit addicted for a time. I think as long as you are watching porn, you will be volatile for addiction. To me, addiction is not being able to control youself and to stop your actions.

As for your situation, I would recommend giving up porn whether you feel it's an addiction or not. As you said that you don't think you're ready, that sounds like you're not willing to let go of it. And if that's the case, then it's definitely something that should be kicked out of your life, because that would mean it is controlling you, and not the other way around.

    So that's my two cents.
