No Wet Dreams yet? (almost 3 weeks later?)

    Hey everyone,

I should be having a wet dream by now considering that I am almost three weeks later of stopping PMO. So I'm not sure why I'm not having a wet dream?

I'm on flatline right now so I know I'm on the right track in healing, but also wet dreams are another sign of knowing that you are on the right track in healing.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

  2. Why do you believe you should be having them?

Why are they a sign you're on the right track?

Because as you retain your semen more in testicles, it's naturally for the body to eventually expel the semen out of the body through the wet dream. It's just a natural process. So when you are doing that, it means your body is finally recognizing the fact that you are no longer doing PMO.

I wouldn't worry about it. I rarely have wet dreams even when abstaining. I think we sometimes focus too much on looking signs we are improving when we need to be patient and let our body recover how it sees fit.

  6. There is absolutely no data to support this claim. Why? Because semen is reabsorbed back into the body. If it didn't do this, your testicles would be down to your ankles, especially for men who are not having sex and ejaculating regularly.

@JesusGreen gave a great reply to this same question and that can be found here: https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/what-o_o.128818/#post-1035437

I often used to get wet dreams every night I missed 1 day of fapping. But now that I have abstained from porn and I am in a flatline, I only had 1 wet dream so far and it took 1 week to happen. It's been nearly 2 months off porn for me now. So maybe it is part of the rewiring process?

I'm in the same boat right now. I'm on flatline too, even tho i received a blowjob from this cute girl in my last dream, i was about to blow a huge load on her face (technically in my boxers) but that didn't happen, the dream got cut off with a morning wood and i had to pee.

On the plus side, i get to retain my semen for another day! I love my new PMO free life!

I always wonder why do people care about these dreams. I would rather not have them at all. Just supersede dirty thoughts with your dreams.

Its good that you are not having them..semen retention is really good for you. Also I had my first wet dream more than a month after I started my streak the first time. So don't worry, it'll happen someday till then enjoy the benefits of semen retention.

You will lose your ability to have a wet dream if you keep PMOing.

On one of my streaks I had them regularly after day 15. On the recent longest streak (>70 days) I did not have any and ... I prefer that :D It is nothing fun really, more like messy and annoying, so don't miss them.

I didn't have my first wd until 35 days in. Don't worry if you haven't had one. Waking up without a mess in your underwear is always plus in my book.
