there will always be battle

Hello NoFap community,

I'm from germany, 24 years old and im studying at a University to become a teacher.
My story is that I came in touch with PMO when I was 11, i guess. Since there my addiction grew until it was all natural for me and i did it every Day. And i did some more things related to the misuse of the gift of sexuality. This progress lasted until i was 17 and i started truely believing in god. The addiction went away step by step until i managed to watch porn no more in 2012. Afterwards i still masturbated, but with a maximum of once a week, which was a huge step in comparison to my sexual behaviour during teen age. In 2014 i married, but i still feeled the need of masturbation from time to time which is particually because our first year of marriage was extremly hard. There are plenty of reasons for it but sexuality was one big Problem of all. One Night in february 2015 i was home alone and this was the moment i got catched again. I watched erotic images by absolut conscious and not much later i watched my first porn since years. Now im back in the whirl of PMO for about 2 and a half years i tried many different things to get out of it again.

This here is a new try and i am hoping that this might be the one way that makes a difference and helps me out now although i know that my freedom is actually in the lord jesus christ. I think that not everyone here has this faith but to me it is the most inportant reason i actually try to get out of PMO at all and jesus is the reason i have not given up until this point and i will not give up anytime.

But i think the exchange with other people helps a lot to overcome and this is why i am here now and i hope there will be plenty of good conversations and encouragements that we can share.

Finally i want to share the verse with you that makes me think that NoFap is a great idea and why it provides the chance to absolutly become free:

Epheser 5, 8-11
For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true; and try to discern what it pleasing to the lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
