They remade that show, I haven’t seen how they re-did Darkwing yet since I only watched the first episode.

Did they really? I can't say I'll watch it, but I'll have to check it out anyway.

Now, if they remade Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, then I'd be in.

Technically, that is a Duck Tales remake. Darkwing Duck came after Duck Tales, however since it's the same universe (Launchpad McQuack was in both shows), he could make an appearance. Also, Huey, Louie and Dewey seem to be very annoying in this version.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot those were two different shows.

 

I liked most of these shows back in the day. My siblings and I would rush home after school to watch them. It's nice to see it back, but it just isn't the same. To me, that era was the golden age of cartoon shows. Most of those Disney cartoon shows were gold. Also, you had shows like Batman: The Animated Series, which in my opinion, to this day remain some of the best representations of their subject.

 

Also, is Donald no longer in the Navy? He's wearing a suit (well, the top half anyway) and driving what appears to be a beat up van. I like thinking of Donald as a rough and tumble sea dog, who can rain tomahawk missiles from above as fast as he can spit out a sentence.

 

The characters look weird in this. The animation was much better in the original series.

 

I agree, I hate the new theme song too.
