Success with PMO, now trying no MO

    Hey guys,

    So I've decided to give up PMO three months ago. At first, I thought it would end the same way as my previous attempts - with me giving up after a couple of days. But today it's been 79 days since I last PMO'd and I don't have any urge to do that again. But my success hasn't felt complete - I still MO. At first, I didn't think it was a problem, but now I'm noticing that I fantasize about P when I MO. It seems like my brain is still hard-wired by P and I find P images more arousing than anything else. So, I'm resetting my tracker and I'm trying to give up any M or edging for the next 30 days. It feels like a huge challenge, but then I thought the same thing about PMO just a couple of months ago. Any advice/suggestions?

    Happy to hear you came to this conclusion. As long as you keep those images of porn alive With imagination your brain will never let go of porn. Just do what you did when you gave up porn and you Will be fine! You might find it useful to exhange the habit of M with something else, maybe a hobby or exercise! Good luck!

    I'm doing no PMO and hardmode. Now it's day 43, at first I edged and still looked at P or MOed using fantasies about real girls but still was objectifying them in a way. I felt good being able just to edge and not to O but I gave up edging because yea it reinforce the P perception of life and I want to get rid of that.

    And yea like for you for me it also seemed impossible not to think of these images and spend no time viewing them at all. But it happened, I didnt PMO for 43 days now and I think I didn't edge or M for 30 days

    I thought about it too, why not just masturbate?
    But like you said, the pictures are still there. and even more than that, stop P and PMO is about recovery,
    but stop MO is about really improving your life.

    You have to fill that void (time wise and excitement wise) in other meaningful things. set positive goals beside the nofap goals. the more you try to achieve those goals, the easier it will be to stop MO and P.
