    Hi fellow Fapstronauts,

It's been more than a year since i discovered YBOP and NoFap, and since then i try to quit PMO for good! My longest streak is around 30 days, which i broke with a stupid relapse because i wasn't following my first rule for avoiding triggers - don't get bored ever :(

Despite being unsuccesful so far, i'm not discouraged as i quickly regained my senses and started again, even more motivated than before. I will have the most intense 3 months (starting from next week) in my life, so i will use that time and the discipline required for dealing with my work and pursuing my goals, to rewire my brain.

My biggest fear is that my previous failures during sexual encounters (limp dick) are due to Performance anxiety, not PIED. When i was with girls in the past, i could easily get horny from little things, but when things become real, i lose my erection.

Also, during my last streak i noticed (around week two) that i had quite strong morning erections and random boners (without fantasizing). According to the test, published on YBOP, if i can achieve and maintain an erection without p or p flashback, i might have Performance anxiety.

The reason why i'm asking is because, i'm currently seeing a girl, which i think is attracted to me. I don't want to ruin everything, since she is close to my social circle (which multiplies the anxiety). Even if nothing ever happens with this girl, my issue is still present :(

Since we all know that PIED can be cured, what about Performance anxiety ? Please share your thought with me. I will really appreciate some motivating stories right now.
Do you think hardmode no pmo will have positive effect towards dealing with this problem ?

Thanks in advance and Cheers ! :)

Just start with NoFap, let you abstaining from PM handle itself, whilst you focus on other things, like improving your life, creating new habits etc. I wouldn't worry about the specifics that NoFap can cure, and personally, haven't had any experience with performance anxiety, but I would think that NoFap can cure anything related to your sexuality. Just don't worry about it too much, start a streak, and continue on.

Don't focus on it. Focus on your goals for self-improvement. Excercise helps, perhaps finding out your professional goals for the next 5 years and working towards those.

Sex is everywhere in our society. Trying to maintain can be tough. Keeping your mind focused on more important matters not only will help you reboot, you'll be way more attractive to girls.

    Thanks for the answers !

What seems to help me deal with my fear (but, sadly, not eliminating it) is that i strongly rely on the benefits i identified during my last streak:
    1. Overcoming social anxiety (I hope general anxiety as well - incl. performance anx. etc.)
    2. Boost in confidence
    3. And increased libido
I asked as a virgin, even if you have high libido in everyday situations, is it possible to still become limp during sex ? I read some articles which suggest, that you should speak with your partner, try to focus on her/him, breathe and meditate and so on. Have you tried these tips, and do you find them useful ?

Thinking about it will make it worse. Sometime it just happens. The mistake guys make is they treat it like a big deal
