I need help on some advice about urges/cravings

    Can anyone please give me some advices about my urge/craving! I noticed that I have been getting alot of cravingsand urges while I was taking a shower! It was very annoying to me, while I was washing my body with soap, I have the urges to mastubate when my skin felt slippery of soap! Suddenly I felt the horniness, I try my best not to masturbate, I did have few time edging to masturbation while I was in the shower, but luckily I did not reach an orgasm, I did stopped myself before reaching a relapse to MO!

    I also being getting a huge blown urges and cravings while I was about to go to sleep at night! For the past fews days I could not fully sleep because when I lay down in bed suddenly many porn images pop up in my mind, then I felt the rush of craving in my body to my head to the point I felt like mastubate in bed, but luckily I did not masturbate!

    can anyone please give me some advices how to deal with these craving problems? Thanks!

    Showering is a dangerous situation for me either. But not when I'm in a hurry: So speed up maybe set a timer on your smartphone. And if that doesn't help turn the water to cold immediately and stay with the temperature for the remaining shower time. That should make you waste no time.

    In the bed: That's way more difficult. I read somewhere here that a good strategy is to just wait. Let the urge torture you. Be aware that this can rob you of an hour or two of sleep. But that's worth it. The urge will go away eventually. Not relapsing leaves you a little tired the next morning, but you feel ok about yourself. Masturbation to be able to rest gets you sleep, no doubt, but you gotta deal with your guilty conscience in the morning and that makes you feel like shit. This approach works for me. I have never relapsed in my bed. Oh, and don't sleep naked. Always wear long pants and a shirt. No matter how hot.

    masturbation is shit and everyday you beat yourself up after you do it, at the end you regret it so why do it, think happy thoughts about family, school, growing up, God, anything that brings you happy memories

    You will find different things work for different people. You can try things out, but you have to decide what is the best approach for you. For example, it is much better if I go go to bed naked. Doing what Forty Six & 2 says would just make it worse. I prefer my dick to be free to do what it wants without touching anything.

    indeed what fits you is the best for you. for me the thought that sooner or later the hornyness will go away helps. what helps you is the best: try to do qick showers and think about things that are not porn when you are in bed... Think about what you will do the next day or omething similar, anything that is not porn. Whatever helps is good!

    Thank You everyone for advices! I think maybe taking a quick shower may help me! I am going to give that a try! I guess Forty Six & 2 do have good point about sleeping, I guess I just have to learn to accepted the craving come urges, even if it take hours which I have been doing for the past few days, which I may not fall sleep right away, I lose few hours of sleep, but at least it still much better than the pain of relapse and the guilt like Forty Six &2 say.

    and about sleeping naked, I actually never did that, but I think IGY do have good point, sometime I felt like just go with the flow of my craving rather than trying to control it!

    and Thanks Anon2394, I am trying to practice visualization, to think positive things in life! I am have been reading book that help put a positive thinking!

    Also Marlow, I will try not think about porn, but what I need to be accomplished the next day, or at least positive thoughts about myself today! Thanks! =D

    porn images pop up in your brain. this happened to me in the second and third week very often. i let this images disappear by their own. somehow it was fascinating how clear they have been. this made me realize how damaged or poisoned my brain was/is. i have hundreds of pornscenes saved in my mind. damn!

    i think the only medicine is time. the abused brain needs time to cure itself. unfortunately this is not a harddrive - we cannot delete all this trash with one press on a button. :(
