I've watched 'The Wolf of Wall Street' past friday and relapsed. The movie itself is pretty good actually but I've never seen a big Hollywood production with that many triggers. This movie is just pure porn. I had rented it legally so I felt the obligation to keep watching it despite the triggers which were getting harder and harder to bear.
So I thought it could be helpful to have an alphabetically ordered list of movies that contain more severe triggers than the usual kissing scenes, so people can inform in advance if the movie they would like to watch can cause a relapse.
I will put a list in this post and edit it when anybody posts a relevant movie in reply to this. I will sort all movies alphabetically by title and put a short description of the triggering content in brackets behind. If anyone would like to contribute to this, please feel free to do so because the number of movies I have seen is fairly limited.

Red font indicates a movie that is considered too pornographic to bear during NoFap. Avoid it by all means.

Violet font indicates if a movie has been called beneficial to NoFap by a user. Safest to watch before starting your challenge. "Helpful but contains major triggers"

American Pie (full-body nude scenes, topless scenes)
American Reunion (topless scenes, male genitalia)
Basic Instinct (full-body nude scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse, female genitalia)
Boogie Nights (comedy about porn industry, numerous topless scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse)
Brüno (graphic depiction of intercourse, female genitalia, male genitalia)
Crank 2: High Voltage (graphic depiction of intercourse, topless scenes)
Eyes Wide Shut (numerous full-body nude scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse many times)
Don Jon (graphic depiction of intercourse, glimpses of porn videos)
    Flatliners (graphic depiction of intercourse)
    Into the Wild (topless scenes)
Monster's Ball (graphic depiction of intercourse, topless scenes)
Perfume - The Story of a Murderer (topless scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse)
Shame (numerous full-body nude scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse many times)
    Starship Troopers (topless scenes)
Ted (topless scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse)
The Terminator (graphic depiction of intercourse)
Thanks for Sharing (movie about recovering sex addicts, only mild triggers)
    Titanic (topless scenes)
    Total Recall (topless scenes)
The Wolf of Wall Street (numerous full-body nude scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse many times)
9 1/2 Weeks (numerous full-body nude scenes, graphic depiction of intercourse many times)

This list is incomplete. Please contribute.

    UPDATE:

I realise people know a lot of movies (for which I'm thankful) but don't specifiy what the triggering content looks like. Why I need the description of the triggers included in your posts, is that every individual fapstronaut has a different threshold. Some can endure fairly explicit scenes without relapsing while others get driven over the edge just by a pair of bare breasts. Furthermore, it's also dangerous for my own goal to research those scenes. So, to clarify:

TWO THINGS YOUR POSTS MUST INCLUDE:
TITLE The title of the movie that you consider triggering
DESCRIPTION A brief description of the triggering scenes. It completely suffices to write your post like a line from my list: Title (triggers behind in brackets)

    UPDATE 2:

User DeepZeppelin has hinted at a funtionality of the movie database imdb.com that lets you see descriptions of all mature themes in a particular movie like violence, profanity, and most importantly for us, sex. To see this information, follow these steps:
    1. Go to imdb.com and search for your desired movie
    2. Scroll down to the "Storyline" box and hit "View content advisory" next to the point "Parents Guide"
However, do this at your own risk as the descriptions can be very detailed at times.

I didn't know that and IMDb has a far greater collection of movies. I guess this thread has lost its meaning quite a bit but if new movies get posted I will still update the first post. I will check this thread less frequently, though.

Flatliners with Keifer Sutherland has an intense short scene at the beginning (intercourse, graphic)
The Terminator has quite a raunchy sex scene too

brilliant idea. yeah i made the innocent mistake of relaxing to a random weeknight movie which started to look just like a plain-vanilla family drama. If I come across any again, I'll remember to list them here.

Interesting list. Not surprised that you consider 'Eyes wide shut' pornographic. It's one of my favourite Kubrick films, but it's indeed very graphic. I suppose we are all different, but I'm not likely to relapse because of a movies dipiction of sex or a pair of breasts on screen. It'll help others though, so kudos and great idea.

Where would you fit 'Don Jon' and 'Shame' on the list? As they're both sex-filled but could be of help to nofap members. Especially fresh starters.

I have seen most of the movies that are on the list. I can't remember every movie I have wathced in my life so I browsed through a few lists like of the sort "the 25 best nude scenes ever" to help my memory a bit. Eyes Wide shut is included in my list because all movie sites I've googled agree that it is very explicit. I have never seen it myself, though. I have just decided to abandon the idea of especially marking pornographic movies because everybody has to decide for oneself if to watch a movie mentioned here.

As for Don Jon and Shame, I also haven't seen these movies so far so I can't say anything about this issue. Just describe the triggering content a bit and I will include them in them in the list.

Yeah. Keep 'Eyes wide Shut' marked in red. It's sexual content could trigger relapse for some. It's tame compared to 'Shame' though. Yet, shame could actually help nofappers. That's the dilemma. It's about porn and sex addiction. 'Don Jon' more so about porn addiction and masturbation. Both feature strong sex scenes and in Don Jon you see the character looking up porn sites and jacking off. The dilemma with both as said, is that they could help those starting off or 'pre' nofappers, those that are thinking about starting off with nofap. I've heard of 'Don Jon' being called 'THE NOFAP MOVIE' by one user. Mark them both as movies that could help if you've relapsed or are thinking of starting maybe. It's tricky. 'Helpful but contains major triggers'. :)

I've included and marked them both, Thanks. I also just decided to rent Don Jon. I usually don't get triggered by a couple of bare breasts or one mild intercourse scene either but Wolf of Wall Street is three hours long and it has to be one of the sexually most explicit blockbuster films ever produced. I would love to watch Shame but currently I don't want to risk it. Maybe I'll watch it on New Years Eve after I've accomplished 90 days ;-)

Don Jon is a really good movie. You do see the main character, having sex, watching porn and talking about how great it is. During the first half of the movie I was horny but then once the main character realises how bad porn is that is when all my urges juat dissapeared.
I also watched a movie called Thanks For Sharing. It is a movie about a group of sex addicts. I highly recommend it because it is beneficial to nofap. Of course there are a few triggering scenes but that's because the characters are relasping or facing urges. By the end of the movie I have no desire of relasping.

Ok, I watched Don Jon and as far as I can tell the only problem porn brings to Jon's life is [NSFW]that he can't lose himself in real sex, only in porn. Other than that his life is pretty damn fantastic. Eventhough he PMOs around 20 times a week. He loses Barbara as a gf because she can't stand porn, but she is quite superficial anyway. The other girl he is with at the end, even offers him to watch porn. Granted though that she also makes him overcome porn.[/NSFW] It's a nice movie, I agree. But the protagonist's life isn't really hindered by porn in any way. He is not misogynist, has plenty of real sex, looks good, and is overall very disciplined. He is basically the opposite of most fapstronauts, myself included.

    Regarding Thanks for Sharing:
I watched the trailer and it doesn't appear to have bare breasts or the likes. So is it generally mild triggerwise?

"I've watched 'The Wolf of Wall Street' past friday and relapsed."

    Exactly the same experience!

I liked the movie a lot but for unstable people like we are it contains dangerous triggers.

I now hear it more and more often that Wolf of Wall Street triggers fapstronauts. I guess most folks could handle the majority of movies that are listed above. But Scorsese definitely put way too much explicit sex scenes in his film.
I should mention that Don Jon for example gave me a boner during the first hour or so because it shows brief explicit 'mashups' of porn videos but when you reach the key point of the plot that porn is detrimental to sexuality all the triggers lose their danger, at least they did for me.

Porn also made don jon aggressive but for the most part I do agree that he was already the opposite of a fapstronaut. It is unrealistic that he could quit so easily but whatever the message was clear.

As for thanks for sharing. I don't want to spoil it but some characters relaspe. So there are 2 scenes where the guys fap to porn and you briefly see the internet screen. There is one sex scene. And there are two scenes with foreplay that would normally lead to sex. This is what I remember. I would say that it is generally mild and by the end of the movie you should have no urges.

Have another red one for the list: Boogie Nights. Great film but could be filled with fap inducing scenes for some.

Can you please specify these scenes? Because the review from the NY Times says:
Yet I found a Youtube summary mentioning that it includes numerous topless scenes and sometimes intercourse depiction.

There's nudity in it and lots of shagging, but it's subtly done. The issue is it's a movie about the porn business in its so-called heyday. Back when I was teenager, I masturbated like mad to this film.

    LOL
They drown their grief with alcohol and, in a particularly raw and graphic display, have sex as Leticia repeatedly mumbles "Make me feel good!"

I haven't read every posts but i recommend this:
    - Go to IMDb (which is a pretty known movies database)
    - Search a movie
    - Find "certificate"; you will see if the movie is VM14 etc
    - Click on "see all certifications" close to the word "certificate"
    - You will see descriptions about sex&nudity, violence&gore, profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking and Frightening/Intense Scenes
