Can someone give me a top to bottom answer if having sex and orgasming counts as relapsing

It depends on your goals. If you wanted to abstein from O, then yes. If you wanted to abstein only from PM then no. On the other hand, many rebooters start with no PMO and with time change to no PM or just no P without counting it as a relapse. The main goal here is to abstein from porn, I dont think that sex is harmful in any way other than causing a Chaser Effect.

As long as I know its not a relapse, but at the beginning of the no PMO people tend to avoid any type of orgasm for a month, so they can free their brain from P faster.

Sex is natural biochemically. I don’t consider this to be a relapse. Sex with a girl is the ultimate goal for many of us. It’s what biology intends us for.

Porn and masturbation aren’t natural biochemically hence they aren’t healthy

  6. As what was said, most usually wait to give their brain a break from dopamine before even having sex. I'd say to avoid it in the beginning of starting no PMO, but that's entirely up to you. You might be okay with just sex but one of the biggest problems is the chaser effect might be too strong, at least it is for me anyway which is why I'm waiting.

It doesn't count as a relapse if you're cutting out porn and/or masturbation since sex is natural, but sex releases dopamine and so it could greatly slow your recovery which is why a lot wait.

Actually sex releases oxytocin and dopamine , the bonding chemical. Masturbation and porn only releases dopamine.

OxyContin released during sex is healthy because biochemically it creates a bonding feeling you have with the partner

The answer to this question is up to you.

If you have a girlfriend or wife then it can be difficult to abstain from the O in PMO so many guys just abstain from PM- it depends what you say your parameters are- if you say that for your journey you are allowed to orgasm via sexual intercourse, then no, it's not a relapse.

It may be more beneficial if you abstain from orgasm for as long as possible though, before engaging in sex.

I’m right there with you teej. I am fairly new here to nofap. No PM since started here. Did have O last week with wife. It was very intimate. No real chaser effect for me. Not sure about long term effects on reboot.

My partner and I are both abstaining from PMO. Personally, I'd go that route for 30 days and then go the no PM route the rest of the way if you're addicted to sex in general. If you're addicted to porn, go the no P or no PM route.

That's only what I would do. There's no right or wrong way to reboot, just don't fall under the fantasy that it's okay to watch porn because you "won't need it in a few weeks", because that's not how it works.

Can someone explain the "chaser" effec to me? Does it mean you need porn after sex like you need a drink after a shot? Lol

Jajaj it means the intense necesity to MO, in many cases to PMO. Its a risk.
