    I edged on day 3 today for like 5 minutes.. Is this disqualification? And I wouldn't do it again

    It depends on what your goals on. Edging is masturbating, but if your goal is to stop watching porn, and if you won't do it again (like you said), I don't think you need to reset. Personally I wouldn't.

    I did not look at porn... And yes I'm trying to quit that but in also trying to quit masturbation so it sounds like a reset but I feel like cumming through edging and cumming regularly is different considering I didn't actually reach that orgasm and didn't flood my brain with that dopamine? I'm actually trying to stop for emotional issues and that's what concerns me

    I wouldn't reset. If you did it without porn (or thinking about porn) and didn't cum, you should be fine. Also depends on what specifically are you "tracking".
    Just catch yourself earlier next time. It's easy ti slip up.
    I am stopping for emotional issues too. You still get some dopamine release when you edge (dopamine is one of the "feel good" chemicals), but it's the orgasm that messes up your brain's chemical balance the most. At least that's my personal experience.

    I recommend you read up more on what's going on during arousal and orgasm in your body and NoFap in general. YourBrainOnPorn.com is a great resource. You will be more in control if you know "your stuff". This is a great post about what's going on in your body during arousal..
