Found Nofap like 6 months ago and at first I did not think much about it. But after abstaining from porn for a month I realized how much I was addicted to it.

The journey has been tough and eye opening to my shortcomings. It all started when I moved to Barcelona. One day a friend called and needed a new flatmate. Have always wanted to pickup a third language so this was my opportunity.

It was an accident that I got into nofap, cause I could not jerk off since my flatmate and me are practically living on top of each other!(we still do) So started to do some research about side effects on not jerking off. Cause I was having headaches and the urge of getting off was insane!

And the more I looked I realized it was the other way around. It was more dangerous to be looking at porn and jerking off all the time then not doing it. This came as shock for me!

So I started to take cold showers daily to fight my urges after a few relapses. And I must say, cold showers is the best thing ever! Also I started a push-up challenge so I'm doing 100 push-ups everyday.

Even though I have done cold showers and exercising regurarly everyday now since 3 months back I still relapsed.

We all have our weak moments I suppose and for me the hardest time is when im alone home. Have been 14 days now since my relapse and my new goal is to make it 3 months.

This is why im writing this as well just to get some feedback maybe and what I should do more then the cold showers and exercising.

Congrats on what you have achieved till now.

You could replace the porn time with some other productive work I guess, like learning a new language as you have mentioned, or try making a new hobby, or reading books, or by studying or whatever interests you.

Try your level best not to stay at home alone. And stay off the internet as mush as possible. Block porn on your devices. And make sure you can't watch porn even if you wanted to.

Evolve your own strategy, and share your experiences with the rest of us.

    Keep going!

Welcome to NoFAP, Swedishboy. Nice to see you here.
Im new here to. 9 days today. Also from sweden.
For every faiilure you learn and see why and what led you to the failure. Learn from the mistakes and like sev94 says, evolve a strategy to evade the triggers because they will come at you. I also stay home alone at times. and that can be a challenge.
But stay strong and again welcome!

  4. No one talks about this enough. The headaches and withdrawals when we quit porn. I remember having headaches so bad that I massaged a blister into my forehead trying to relieve the tension in my frontal lobe.
