Hey I’m Elmer64 and I am addicted to porn. Lord only knows when I started masturbating to porn. It was probably when I was in my teens…..over 40 years ago….but at that time I only had magazines like Penthouse and Playboy to jerk to. Fast forward to the late 70’s when I married a beautiful and sexy wife. Because she was so beautiful I had trouble back then coming too soon which was a downer to her satisfaction during sex. So I started masturbating regularly (2-3 times per week) to help with that situation. And it did help back then.


In the late 90’s we traveled to KW on vacations quite a bit. I found a Doctor there that would write you prescriptions for Vigra and fill them from his office. Wow! What fun!!! An erection that lasted for hours allowing me to have sex multiple times with my wife in one evening!!! Well after a year or two the 25 mg were not working so I switched to 50 mg. That worked for another couple of years and then I switched to 75 mg and finally 100 mg and before long (10 years probably) the novelty wore off. The Vigra still worked but not as well as it did when I started abusing that “sexual aid” so I started looking at porn more and more since it was so easy to find on the internet at this time in my life.


In about 2008 I had a prostate enlargement problem. I started taking Flowmax for that and it seemed to help. However I did not want to be on that med for the rest of my life (a personal issue I had with taking prescriptions back then) so I saw an urologist who convinced me that Green Light Laser Surgery was the answer. Green Light Laser Surgery is where the stick a laser up your penis to enlarge the urinary channel. MY ADVICE IS NEVER ALLOW THEM TO DO THIS TYPE OF SURGERY ON YOU!!!!!! The procedure did allow me to pee freely but one side effect they did not tell me about is that you probably will not ejaculate normally any longer. That’s right no cum shots out of the pecker any more. Instead I have retrograde ejaculations. I still have orgasms and cum during orgasms but my semen travels into my bladder and not out the end of my penis. My wife likes this because no more messy cum dripping out of her vagina after sex. It still feels similar to me when I have an orgasm but it’s really not the same and mentally it caused a block for me that started me down the road to ED.



For my ED I was prescribed a cailis program to be take once per day. That is right 30 cailis tablets a month. That helped for 4-5 years and I could have sex with my wife on a regular basis. But the retrograde ejaculations still wore on me mentally. So I switched to porn and masturbation even more than ever. Eventually during sex with my wife my ED started getting so bad I had to watch porn to get an erection. That helped for awhile and I’m really amazed my wife did not put her foot down at that point in time because she knew I was masturbating to porn for several years. My wife probably did not say anything because that is about when I bought her the first vibrator she owned. She was having great orgasms because of the vibrator so she put up with the porn that I was using to have orgasms while we had sex.



About 2 years ago the 1 a day cailis quit working so my Doctor prescribed 1 a day vigra. That worked off and on for a year and then I started having trouble again. So I got a penis pump and used that to get an erection that would last during sex with my wife. That quit working after a year and my wife and I resigned ourselves to mutual masturbation while watching porn in bed. That worked (if you want to call it that ….only having an orgasm by masturbating rather than intercourse with you wife) until I took a 10 day trip without my wife recently. That gave her a lot of time on her hands so she decided to research ED, porn, masturbation, and other things and when I returned she laid the law down. Porn or her was the ultimatum I was given.



I am choosing no more porn and that is why I joined this program so I can kick this nasty habit and hopefully re-gain the sensitivity in my penis to enjoy normal sexual relations with my wife.



PS. It’s kinda funny (and sad)…. I was in an antique shop the other day after quitting porn. They had a few Playboys from the mid 1990’s. I opened one to the centerfold and laughed to myself (and probably should have cried)….That use to be enough to give me a rock hard boner immediately when I was 16 but on that day it really did nothing for me. It’s sad that my porn habit has desensitized me to this point. I know there are other factors like my prostate surgery, too many Vigra, and my age that have hindered my sexual relations with my wife but if I hadn’t gotten hooked on porn I am positive my sexual outlook may have been healthier for me than it currently is.
