I found myself doing that a lot. My last relapse after 30+ days led to not being able to go more than a day or two without another relapse. I had to really get out of that way of thinking before I was able to start making progress again. But the thing I've realized during this current streak is that there's a lot of thoughts even before the might as well that Karmicdog is talking about. Been's helpnig me to stop indulging in those thoughts way earlier.

I actually read that in Iroh's voice. I might do a vocaroo recording of that when I have some time. Unless you'd rather I didn't.

    Go for it

  7. Yes! This is what I used to say to myself when I relapsed. I also identify with 7. I did identify with the others in a time, but for some reason not anymore. I have been there though!

This was extremely helpful to me. I am literally just getting into NoFAP for the first time and am 1 day in already trying to convince myself that this is stupid and to just watch porn because its not like anyone knows. My issue is that I CAN do it in "secret" and its that almost adventure and solitude I get from it that constantly tries draws me close. Im scared that if Im feeling this day 1 I can only imagine day 10-20

Do you have a good counter argument for this?

I think other people might share this rationalization.

This whole post was hysterically funny but also completely true. But this point is so true and almost impossible for us PAs to admit. We are never cured and we can never again enjoy porn. Even for a peek. Just like the alcoholic cannot have "just one beer". Thanks Jonny

  12. You think like that because you're not convinced it's a problem. Before you can do NoFap, you must absolutely convince yourself that it's a problem or there's no point at all since you're the one that updates the counter and none of us will know whether it is accurate or not. So if I were you, I would just leave and go fap around for a few more years until you realize it's a problem for you or maybe it isn't a problem at all and you're really just wasting your time here. In the words of Yoda: "Do or do not, there is no try."

  15. If you're going to critique, then please have some courage and do so using your own words. Do you actually have any words of your own on this matter or are you just going to post memes? One does a brother a great disservice when he recognizes his brother's error yet chooses to remain quiet. Unfortunately, staying quiet doesn't make one into a sage.

I remain firm in the belief that until you first recognize you have a problem such as PMO, sex, or drug addiction, you'll never be in a position to actually change that habit. How can you even attempt to remove some behavior from your life for which you can't even recognize it is unwanted yet? Please enlighten me and help all of us "unlearn what we have learned."

  17. LOL. I guess I went a little too far with that. I'm feeling a bit aggressive from doing NoFap.

  19. This is by far the most stupid rationalization. I have thought this so many times. It is really amazing that I would believe this.
