I think one of the best first steps is to create routines that get you out of the home and in environments where you can't watch porn, or many small tasks that take up the time that porn would have taken up.

 

Physically make it impossible to watch porn. Treat this like a physical ailment. Install blockers. Reduce ur internet service.

Just off the top of my head...

• read up about this addiction, why it's shit, and how great you will feel with it out of your life
• get daily exercise, helps your brain and burns pent up energy when you don't pmo
• minimize media intake (movies, songs, fake news), and think about the content you consume... does it have sexy scenes etc.
• change your environment - PC to the lounge, phone not in your room at night, go out and socialise don't surf online too much
• have something to do when urges kick in, I turn off my device and go outside for exercise

Extra tip, fill your week with tasks to do. I find if there's something I have to do tomorrow I know I need the sleep and energy for it. Conversely if I have a few days free in a row my mind starts to try and justify a relapse..

 

Yes you can. No one is forcing you, you are making that choice- make a different choice not to view porn. It will only work if you truly want to give up porn.

Use porn blockers, close social media, take up some good hobbies, fill your time with productive pursuits.
