Question about PIED

If you don't get morning wood thats a sign, also if you cant masturbate without P you probably have it. Its not the same for everyone though.

 

If you can’t get it up with a real life woman then it’s a good chance you have it or performance anxiety.

 

The way it works with me is, I have no trouble getting and maintaining erection with porn, but I do struggle to either get it up at all, or keep it up long enough, or get it hard enough, to have sex with a real woman. In other words, my PIED (which for the time being I'm assuming and hoping is that, and not just generic ED) only manifests itself in real sex, therefore if I were in your situation I wouldn't have discovered it in the first place, and wouldn't be able to determine whether I have it or not.

I realise that wasn't very helpful. Hopefully someone who actually knows about this stuff will be along soon to give you a more useful answer...

 

IMO, that's a pretty good sign that you don't have PIED. I had ED when I tried to M or have sex without porn. It's become much less of an issue since I've abstained from porn.

My definition of PIED is erectile dysfunction caused by desensitization from too much and/or too intensive exposure to PMO.

 

Yes, I think a good benchmark is if you can get and sustain an erection for normal sex then you probably don't have it. I used to think my case was stress or anxiety related to other factors or diet but I figured out that in fact it was porn induced the entire time.

 

A general definition I guess would be that you can't obtain or sustain a firm erection while having sex with a real person or when masturbating without porn.

If you are not having that issue, I see no reason to worry that you have it.
