Well, computer/vedio game are now very popular, some countries even put money in the industry.A college student play the game very well and maybe a gamer in the future.I have no idea which kind of games he is good at it but many games are about killing, shooting the monsters or enemies. One day he killed several MRT passangers by the knife he carried. One reason can be the long-term palying and the high-skills he gained. According to the report, he has been bullied in the school(not very severe). In the senior high school he got a comment that is , "he kill no man". Now he died under the death penatly.......Isn't there a similiar case in other country?
That the boundary between reality and the fantasy may sometimes not so clear. I think the game industries should consider the possible bad effects and make some useful warnings or ways as perservances, not to boost the techniques to make it more vivid, more like a true thing.(Looking at all the PC games piling up in my home,I feel myself somehow dumb for the time and the money I have wasted.)(And where are all those hard contents books?)

  2. That usually means the person had mental problems or something else severe going on long before playing video games. The old stereotype that games make you violent or aggressive are annoying, I've been playing shooters my whole life and I'm not shooting or stabbing people.

If he wasn't playing games then something else would of "triggered" him to do that.

  3. Elon Musk also playes video games does that make my chances of becoming a billionaire better also?

    Hi Sarah,
Thank for you precious reply after reading my broken English.
When the comments had come out on the TV by a monk, many people are very angry, for the possible ignorance and discrimination attitudes and the lackness of the sympathy.
Sadly enough in our country the medical treatment are not very prefound,so do the relative researches about the games... there are still many spaces to improve.Pornology is a topics about sex, and should be handle carefully in the discussion.
Back to the topic, I still think that the electric game industries should do something. The games are interactive, people are various, no one can tell.
Wish all the Fapstronauts can break free toward pornology.

Hi dave2089,maybe you can play the biticoin.(joking)

  6. Haven't given it up yet, and I am not sure I will. But I did take a break from it. Hasn't played since Tuesday last week. Gonna put it on the burner, at least until Life is Strange: Before the Storm episode 3 gets out. Until then minimal playing. I don't really miss it that much actually.

  7. I gave up video games long ago because I didn't have anyone to play with and the computer always cheated.

  8. I wasted years of my free time on video games. I started playing at age 7, and enjoyed playing them but it wasn't until age 16 when I got Xbox live online multiplayer on my 360. For 5 years it was all I did everyday for at least 6 hours. I was hooked. Then one day out of the blue, my Internet and my 360 decided they didn't want to be friends anymore. Every 5 minutes it would disconnect and pull me out of the game so it wasn't worth it to even try to play anymore. I tried everything to fix the connection but to no avail. A few years later, I'm so thankful that happened. Real life is a million times better.

  9. Gaming is alright, once you know how when to draw a bound, but if you don't, then there will be problems. I also have issues with gaming, when i would not be busy with university stuff i would most likely just waste time online window shopping, or would play multiplayer games. One thing i noticed is that, once i play video games is that i lose motivation for studying, reading, or generally doing anything productive. And, i do believe its strongly connected to my PMO habit, therefore i work on to avoid gaming, as its just wasting my time...

Sold my XB1 a few weeks back, hardly miss it.

Youtube & Twitch are the problem for me right now. I spend hours on them daily. Just blocked Twitch on K9 now, will see how that goes. Youtube will be tougher I imagine.

I quitted games 6 years ago due to school
It's a huge waste of time and i used to play all day long on my pc and xbox

Turns out, dedicating your life to games males you a loser with 0 social life

I don't give a single fuck about games anymore and I don't associate myself with any kind of games except a game on my phone

At least when I'm on a phone, i can close that game immediately if there's anything more important

I admit that video games are time consuming that's why we need to use the time wisely. If you really have a free of free time, why not play a video game ? But remember choose wisely the genre of the game, just like P genre or violence games can trigger us to PMO

I managed to amass 3000 hours in Dota 2 in only a year and a half of playing. That's 125 entire days spent playing, out of 547.5 days. That's a full quarter of that year and a half, so I spent an average of 6 hours a day on Dota. Considering I also got 8 hours of sleep and spent about 6 hours of the day at college during the week, that's almost no time spent doing anything but playing.

I guarantee that the rest of that time wasn't spent with friends, family or studying. I was completely addicted. It was the first thing I did when got home or woke up at the weekend. It was the last thing I did before bed. It ruined my sleep schedule, my offline social life, my health, and worsened my social anxiety.

One day I closed my laptop and quit. I quit over 2 years ago and I've never gone back. I've played maybe four matches in the time since then, and those were just to speak to old friends I'd made during the time I played (who I still miss dearly now that I don't play anymore, even two years later).

Despite what the addiction did to me I still have an innate love of video games. I don't think there's anything wrong with them at all. I've started playing them again and I miss them a lot while I'm at university, so every time I travel home I make sure to pick a game or two and play them while I have the chance. I even still watch, read and generally pay attention to what's going on in Dota even though I don't play anymore. I loved it but I used it in an unhealthy way, and it was unsustainable.

I think video games are amazing and for a lot of people, myself included, they're where much of our childhoods took place. I remember moving away from the city I grew up in, and on the last day, saying goodbye to my schoolfriends as we played online, crying through the microphone. Most of my fondest memories and fondest friendships were made online, or sitting side by side on a small bed, gripping a controller. They'll always be a part of my life, because I was raised in a family for whom video games are important. I just have a healthier relationship with them now.
