Does porn make you hate women?

Honestly that would be worth watching porn again Porn clearly needs to be caricatured anyway.

Fuck... maybe you're onto something! Maybe 90% of the videos should be the usual thumbnail, then you click on the vid and the girl is all: "uuuuuh... I think of you as a friend." Then when we got the eventual payoff we'd actually appreciate it!

 

i don't have the same kind of "hate"to women as you do but what i do have since i watched a lot of porn is that i started to hate women more and more and only like them if they're doing porn or being sluts. i hope nofap will make this go away but i'm kinda scared it won't

I think porn is most definitely partly to blame for your issues mate. I had those same misogynistic thoughts as you for ages and unfortunately I still do from time to time. Depending on the porn you watch (but I'd say in most mainstream porn) women are portrayed as sex objects only there for the man's gratification. They're always 'submissive' to a dominant male and their only purpose is to give him pleasure. The man's role in all this is to degrade, humiliate and belittle her. Usually she is very attractive whilst the dude is average or even ugly.

Now if you watch enough of that shite over and over, you get brainwashed and start thinking women in every day life want or deserve the same kind of treatment. When you see a hot girl you're not thinking, "By golly, I want to make sweet love to this beautiful lady". You're picturing her in your favorite porn scene doing all the same nasty acts you jerk off to at home on your computer screen. But this isn't porn, it's the real world.. and it turns out she actually isn't into any of that and wants to be treated with respect!? How dare she! Also, you're just a bang average guy so she isn't interested in you like that either way. So basically everything that porn has taught you was a lie and someone needs to take the blame...why not let it be her? In fact, no...ALL women are to blame! You get the point.

The advice as always is, stop with the porn, start with the actual human interaction. You will see that at the end of the day women are just human beings like us. They suffer from the same insecurities, low self-esteem, anxiety etc. They also have the same bodily functions. They shit, piss and fart (and actually their farts smell worse than ours - you can look that up )

So I guess the moral of this story is, you shouldn't look down on them but at the same time don't put them up on a pedestal either.

Just treat everybody equally regardless of how they look or what genitalia they have and you'll do just fine.

The only group of people that deserve no respect are quitters. This category is completely unrelated to <insert politically sensitive category of people here> in any way. Quitters are people who do nothing to solve any problem.

That is why I like most people on this forum, we are by definition fighters. Takes some mad effort to counter nature's force in our balls.

 

I agree with most of this but I feel that respect must be earned. I can treat a stranger with decency but I can't treat them with respect until I know they've done something worthy of it.

 

This, so much this. I treat people decently as well, that is my default state. I put the extra effort to show respect only to people who have earned it though.....usually this involves that individual doing something to fight or overcome some personal challenge of theirs. This can be any type of challenge...financial, familial, racial, sexual, musical....anything really, that was a challenge to them, that they overcame.

 

To be honest sometimes I hate women and I think porn has played a part in me thinking like that. About 90% of the time I don't but sometimes I can go to dark place in my mind. I think there are other issues from my past that have caused me to sometimes think like that but I think porn has contributed to it. I can't honestly believe anyone who has actually watched porn and says it hasn't caused them to hate women. Most porn producers seem to delight in making films where women are in pain, are humiliated and are being hurt. The only way to avoid such things is by limiting yourself to only softcore like
