I'm excited I'm quitting cigarettes

So I'm day 3 of quitting cigs. I'm not keeping track, it's just the same streak as my nofap streak.

I'm not addicted to cigs, yet at least. I remember even when I didn't know I was addicted to porn, I would need it. But with cigs, I don't have that need at all really.

I smoked alot of tobacco itself bc I would pack my bong with weed and half the bowl would be tobacco (to conserve weed & tobacco buzz). I'm really quitting weed to save money (I would drop $60 every 2-3 days) and motivational purposes, not health reasons. I can save that same amount of money and I would make bank tbh.

But now I'm taking a pretty big break (8 months) from smoking in general (weed & cigs). I'm hoping this would increase my breathing and I can start running a little to improve my weightlifting/mental health.

I say I'm taking a break. I might go back to weed bc it's not harmful to you (not everyday thing), but I'm probably gonna stop cigs forever bc I could get addicted to them in the future. There's plentiful amount of benefits with weed, but not with tobacco.

I started smoking cigs/doing hard-ish drugs heavily in my fraternity bc fuck it, I didn't care if I lived or died (not depression/suicidal, just simply didn't care about myself or anything).

Kinda skied to see what happens. Would quitting drugs in general help me with my reboot? Doubt it. But what is the benefit to it? To get high. Okay.. lol

 

If anybody has quit cigs, how long until "smoker's cough" goes away? It just kicked in this morning and it's ubtle but annoying
