Any metal fans?

Another metal fan here, I usually listen metalcore, but I enjoy melodic and symphonic also. Within Temptation got me into metal btw.

 

Metal fan here since my pre-teen years.

What I mostly listen to is alternative metal, groove metal, classic heavy metal, modern heavy metal, thrash metal, death metal, melodic death metal, folk metal, and a bit of metalcore. That's about it.

 

I found a new band called Avatar, they have pretty cool songs, reminds me a little of slipknot, what do you guys think?

 

You've forgotten Poland, buddy. They are right up the top what with Graveland, Mgła, etc. Heard of Batushka? It's Polish but the lyrics are in Russian. Have a listen...

I'm 29 and on any day of the week would rather listen to Heavy Metal from the 80's and early 90's than 99% of the music that's coming out today. There just aren't any new bands out right now that even come close to giants like Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Ratt, Guns n Roses, etc. At this point, I would say we're way past the "golden age" and "silver age" of Metal.

 

Not really metal no. I started fucking w metal-esque music that would classify as rock dope stuff. Also reggae is also cool w metal

 

Xxxtencion just dropped an album that's rap and metal. Pretty decent would like it better if I liked metal more

 

I like aluminum-alloys. Although copper has a wide range of applications too...
Been a fan since I studied construction-materials 1 in 2014. Since then I looked at all kinds of metals, ranging from simple S235JR+AR to high tensile strength materials.

 

trying to find some good modern rock bands that aren't hipster.

 

For some reason, listening to Rammstein calms me down and makes me feel better whenever I'm in a bad mood or I need to focus.

 

God I love Sonata Artica. Progressive metal is just simply amazing. You should check out the In Contact albums by Caligulas Horse. They are from Australia. Recently discovered these guys.
