    Hi people!

This is my first day on NoFap, I've gone through various stages of porn addiction, and usually self motivate myself to quit. However, I really want to make it a long-term goal this time, so have decided to use this website.

I've always convinced myself I don't have a problem, always just telling myself I could stop whenever I wanted. The turning point has come over the past couple of weeks. I got paid hotel and expenses for a 2 week work trip, and the free WiFi had a porn blocker on so I spent 3 hours searching desperately on Google for a non-blocked link. Also, after a few days of that I started to notice my behaviour was getting very snappy, due to the lack of porn.

I only discovered NoVak by accident, through a forum thread, but it seems to have helped a ridiculous amount of people in times of hardship. Hopefully it can do the same for me.

    Thanks for reading,
    Chris

  3. Hi @ChrisJM13
I am glad to see you made the decision to quit porn.
    I think that's a great idea!
I wish you good luck during your reboot!
One important step to grow out of your addiction is: share with others.
So keeping a journal may be very helpful.

Welcome, stopping PMO will be the best decision you can ever make. In my opinion you have to find your "why" for quitting PMO. I believe that it is difficult to stop this addiction until you are truly ready to stop.
