Does rebooting make chasing girls harder?

Quick details: Started talking to a girl at breakfast at the beach on holiday.
Looks 10 years younger than her age. Doctor, 5 languages. Possibly smartest woman I've ever met.
Truth told, I was smitten right away, (I love smart women) but manage to keep cool... to begin with. Cocky, funny, you name it. Whatever I suggest, she's in. Shy and quiet, but she's ok with my touch, never pulls away and occasionally looking for reasons to get closer. All systems go.

But after a few hours, with it very clear that she was into me, I became so concentrated on opening the floodgates that are my self-inflicted blue balls I made things awkward and unnatural, and blew the deal (and possibly a rel'n with a great girl) in the process.
That's normally not my problem, quite the opposite. I'm here in the first place to see if a MO fast would help with low sex drive. Since I've been single again, (from 4 yr rel'n) I've been brushing girls off that show lots of interest.

So Q is... do you guys find that MO fasting is hindering your real life game because it's making you too focused on getting her clothes off ASAP?

 

hehe, tell me about it. I know the game, although I freely admit I'm very, very rusty at it. You can only say "you're so great" stuff to girls that think you're above them, it puts them at ease if they're in "why me?" insecure mode. To girls that think themselves on your level or above though, it's grim death.

Normally, it's not a problem. I'm pretty happy with single life, and have no "biological clock" prodding at me, so I'm normally never "try-hard" with girls. It was almost an involuntary response. You ever get halfway through a sentence and think to yourself "WTF am I saying?!"

I'm wondering if my "dating pre-mature ejaculation" is being caused by my PMO fast or it's just that I've been off the market so long.

Anyone else had this, or is it just me?

 

Maybe I should just grab a chick or two I'm not that into just to get back into the swing, so when a top shelf girl comes around, I'm not stinking of desperation.
