30/m Trying to quit this addiction

    I really hate watching porn. It makes me feel pretty bad about myself. It zaps me of all my energy. "Intimacy" means watching moving pixels on a computer screen. I don't like watching it, but I've watched it since I was fifteen. I have a lot of programming to undo. It's hard. I hope that by posting here I can meet new friends who can help me quit, and that I can help others quit.

    Meditation 2x a day for 5 mins (longer if desired). Journal every day. No phone or computer in bed. Not sitting in my computer chair unless I'm doing audio recording (in other words my tower is for audio only, no browsing). Exercising, doing yoga, getting out more and seeing friends. If bored go out and do something, anything. If I get a craving to use porn, just physically get up and leave the house. Prayer. Play music. Read about semen retention / taoism / porn recovery.
