A New Start

  1. After a 7 month streak and a 3 month relapse I want to stop my PMO. I have tried several times to quit again with little success. P is so powerful. Once I slipped it was not long before I was back to the place I had been for so many years using PMO as my drug of choice. Taking this one hour at a time. I know it is worth it, did it for 7 months and will do it again. No PMO hard mode!

  2. Today is day 4 no PMO. It feels good not triggered at the moment. I fell into a period of looking at P. I am staying away from my computer for a while. Urges have not been bad yet but I know they will come. Good to be clean today.

  3. Back after a long relapse. I have deleted all p on my computer. Starting the one day at a time. This has affected all aspects of my life. I have quit going to the gym, doing any kind of exercising and eating more sugar foods than ever before. This has led to weight gain, complacency, and no willpower to stop PMO. Going to get an accountability partner this time around. Good to be back again.

  4. Day 1 complete, took a long walk for exercise, and have not eaten sugar. One step at a time on this journey replacing bad behaviors with good ones. I know it is the journey and not the destination dealing with this addiction. Grateful to this site for a place to be accountable and see others going through what I am going through.

  5. Day 2 complete. Went to a movie today which helped with being home during this critical phase of quitting. The urges have not been too strong yet but I know they are coming. I know this site works since I had put together 7 months no PMO earlier this year. It is just one day at a time putting in place new behaviors to take the place of old ones.

  14. Day 6 and all is well. Urges have not been too intense but nagging below the surface. Continuing one day at a time.

  15. New Years Eve with no PMO. Had to turn off the Tube with all the celebrations and triggering performances. Probably would not be a problem with more time away from PMO but do not want to take any chances. It is not worth it to risk this streak. Went on a long walk today with a friend working on some of the same issues. Good to have others on this path. I know this site works because I put together 7 months earlier in the year for the first time. Happy New Year to all the NoFapstronauts and good luck on your journeys in 2018.

  16. Day 7 no PMO. Had a good day catching up on projects. I have more time and focus without PMO. Urges not to bad.

  17. 8 Days no PMO. Today started out productive, few repairs, time at work, walk with a friend, and my first gym workout in a while. Tonight feeling some withdrawal, tired, lonely, and foggy. Going to read a little before lights out.

  18. 9 days complete no PMO. Surprised how fast the time has gone by. Urges have not been extreme yet. The 7 month streak earlier this year I believe is helping out with this streak. Grateful for this site, it is the only place where I have had any success stopping PMO.

  19. Appreciate it, replacing this with other activities takes time and I have to remember it is the journey not the destination. Good luck on your journey.

  20. 11 Days No PMO. I have been adding more exercise to my daily activities which helps night time rest. 11 days is a good beginning but I am trying to look at it only as one day at a time. If needed one hour at a time till I get past the urges. I know there is more to life than PMO and living life to the fullest is my goal.
