Day 25/30: Another NoFap day, feeling positive, let's stay positive and do this !

Okay.. DAY 0 Again (unfortunately AND fortunately!) Why fortunately you ask? I came up with a neat solution on blocking porn/adult material on both PC and android. Long post ahead!

Laptop:
It is a slightly complicated process and requires a second person (probably your girlfriend or a close one you trust).
1) Create a new gmail account for yourself and login using the same.
2) Then go to activtrak.com . now this is the best part. It is actually used in offices to monitor employee performance and all but it can also terminate applications automatically if any "bad" words or urls are entered
so in a nutshell, when you type porn and press enter. BOOM! browser (or any application) gets terminated. And not just for porn, for any word which could potentially trigger you!
3) So download the application in to your laptop/Pc and register using the email you created. The application is a monitoring device and uses a bit of your ram (probably around 10mb)
4) after installation, you are asked to login in to the webpage of activtrak and when you enter. you can actually monitor the webpages that you can see.
5) On top left you can see a Bar which upon clicking opens a list of options, one of them being Alarms
6) Type the name of the alarm on top and there are 3 boxes slightly to the bottom and I want you to follow this algorithm
Box 1: Titlebar
Box 2: Contains
Box 3: The word which when you type makes the application close ( ex: porn, sex, pornstar name etc)
Basically this means that when you enter the specified word in the titlebar, the activtrak application immediately shuts your browser down. (You need to specify this action as well at the bottom of the page)
when you go even further down you will come across other options like sending a mail to your friend when you type or to display a message saying that it is wrong etc
7) scroll at the end and you will see this message Terminate client application that triggered the alarm with a check box on its left. You know what to do!
8) once you are done, save it and you should see the changes
You can use this for hundreds of words. Literally!
It works brilliantly on my laptop but I relapsed using my phone which I totally forgot!

So here goes for phone (relatively easy):
1) download applock and block the browser, settings youtube, and playstore
2) Download SPIN browser if you really have something important to browse
3) Ask your close ones to change the password (If you have something reaaally imp then ask them to open up without sharing the password)
Mind you. The SPIN browser blocks everything abnormal and not just porn. It is basically a browser for kids so except for informational purposes (works for me because I use laptop more than my phone) you can't use this browser because it wont show you any results.
You can message me if you have any doubts related to laptop method (works 100%. Trust me)

You can even say things like "be a man, use your motivation not things like these" and all. But given my circumstances, I put my entire motivation and effort into studies that I can't even focus on other things. So its your choice to use this. I am pretty sure that at least one of us will be benefited with this. At least this motivates me internally that I wont have any option to watch and I get back to my work.

So that's it. Now its DAY 0. Let's see what happens!

Edit: I forgot to mention one thing. The laptop version blocks nofap home page (only the home page) as well because nofap home page says "NoFap Porn Addiction" which contains the word porn. So bookmark the forum page and you can navigate to any nofap page you want except home can't help on that I guess.
