I am Lissie 27. I just ended a relation that was not good because I experienced a lot of abuse....it’s the theme of my life...through the abuse I developed other not good habits and desires. I went quite heavy into pmo that I want to quit. Looking forward to replies and to learn to know how this here goes.

Hey Lissie. Welcome. I am new here as well. I joined yesterday. There is some excellent information on this site and others about what happens with your brain as you watch porn. It all made a ton of sense to me. I am sorry to hear about the abuse. I too delved heavily into PMO and I think it will take awhile for me to fully reboot. I wish you the best of luck on this journey.

Welcome Lissie. I'm fairly new here (a month or so) but the forums have been very helpful. Take it 1 day at a time and things will truly get better. Being open and honest with myself along the way has really helped me. When you need help reach out to the forum or read the success stories sometimes they give some needed motivation. Good luck, Happy New Year

  6. Hi Lissie,
    Thanks for being here. Welcome!
Leaving an addictive habit is not an easy job, but .... it will be fully worth it.
You're totally right that you deserve a life without abuse in it.

To involve in here, get some knowledge, read stories, let yourself encouraged by others.
You are not alone in this. So connecting to others is a clue as well!
And don't forget to create a journal.
Writing about your daily stuff may really help you to process the issues.
    Good luck!

BTW: Nice pup in your avatar :)
