Deleted Instagram from my phone

I deleted Instagram from my phone about a week ago and the more time passes by, the less I feel the need for it. It could be to do with my 55 day streak out of 90 thus far, but the more I heal myself, the more I realise that it's just full of approval seekers and people who seek external validation, when they really have deep underlying issues within themselves. And that was what I was doing with myself for a long time - running away from myself and creating these snapshots of a life which in reality were only highlights or barely 5% of what my real life is.

I did the same with Pinterest and never looked back a number of years ago as well. I also deleted Snapchat half a year ago too. I have no real use for them to be honest.

 

I agree. I don't feel the need for it anymore. I have kept Twitter and Facebook though for different reasons.
Twitter to get great info and tips from specially selected people I follow - I got rid of all the energy vampires and victim mentality losers and still unfollowing people. Facebook because it's the only way I can get in touch with many people such as friends and family around the world.

 

For me, Facebook isn't AS bad as Twitter is for lurking at other girls. Instagram though was the WORST. It had to go.
