Hi guys, I hope you're all having a good time so far.

I'm in this journey since August, when I took this matter seriously and started to care about overcoming this addiction. Long story short, lots of relapses, ups and downs, struggles, sleepless nights and whatnot. Today I had my very first wet dream IN YEARS (last one I had I was 15 or something, pre PMO abuse).

So, is this a sign of progress or that my monkey brain is preparing to strike me with full force soon? I don't really know what to expect, but I'll do my best to stay disciplined and proceed with my recovery.

Only reply if you have been in a similar situation or actually know what you're talking about. Thanks in advance! :)

I find it quite funny :)

  3. It might be a sign of progress, your body try to find a way to ged rid of your juice or it can be because you were aroused for a certain amount of time and you didn't masturbate. When I got a WD I was not doing nofap but I was aroused and wanted to do the job but I was distracted so I couldn't and when I woke up... you know. Definitely not a bad sign it's healthy and normal.

im no expert so i may be totally wrong but maybe you were just overloaded and had to empty something. and since your abstaining for PMO than your brain found the solution from your dreams. but just keep going strong nonetheless abstaining form all the bad stuff and focus on improving yourselve

most of the people here in nofap had experienced wetdreams. It is because of abstinence to M. Our body releases the old semen that is stored for a long time to make room for new fresh ones.
My advice to you is to be prepared in case of "the chaser effect".

I had one too around day 70ish. After edging rhe night before.

    It was my first.

However what it is... your tank is full of fresh ripe juice... it needs releasing. Wet dreams are a natural and pure way for it to come out unless you're married of course.

Last year, in June, I abstained from masturbation for a little more than four months, from June 21st to October 30th (Today is day one of a second attempt).

On the start of day 14 I had a wet dream as I was drifting off to sleep. It was my first wet dream since the 1970s, as I'm 54 years old. I didn't have anymore the rest of the time I abstained.

Interestingly enough, when I went back to masturbating after over four months of abstinence, I suffered from severe premature ejaculation for about the first five days. I would begin masturbating and would come in 10 seconds, almost instantly. I had never had trouble with premature ejaculation before in my life, so I assume this short experience was due to the accumulation of semen from not having masturbated for so long. After about five days I ejaculated after a normal time period.

wet dreams are a normal bodily response to being a human who is not having sexual release in any other fashion. Nothing wrong with that. This is completely natural. The part of your body that has social and intellectual and neurotical inhibitions to your sexuality is turned off when you are sleeping. The thinking part of the brain is doing it update. The rest of your body is just in a natural release.

Sex is not the enemy nor is organism, pornography and masturbating to it and thing porn thoughts about sex is
