I started this beautiful challenge a few days before. And today is the seventh day I suppose. Its quite refreshing and excitingly positive. Even the very thought that I sustain the challenge midst of all provocations gives me a lot of self confidence.

Now i want all your suggestions regarding one of my dilemma.
Should I stop watching all sorts of pictures and videos that may stimulate an erection or try to calm down and train my mind to control all feelings and not to masturbate?

Also I have an excitingly beautiful video on my phone which may induce an erection if watched. Shall I delete it or watching it occasionally without masturbating will do?

    Please share your suggestions...

And wish you all a very happy new year ;)

It seems you are an Indian!! Mee too from India.
As far as my experience since I am on day 112 no pmo hard mode, any sort of sexual simulation or nudity can trigger or ruin your nofap journey so better stay clean otherwise you will notice slow recovery of your brain.
Go for 90 days with watching anything that can trigger or it has some erotic substance.
I have deleted 100 GB of porn from my laptop and all sorts of semi nude or fully nude materials from my phone as well. These things can make you relapse so better watch it carefully.
Your brain actually needs time to calm down and repair to normalise again.
I am getting better every day, now I feel as if I have left porn behind in the past. Now its me who rules my own life not porn.
    All d best bro.
    Always stay strong.

You can feel it in your frontal lobe, when you look at anything 'stimulating'. Just don't do it bro, not worth it!

Also, milder things will stimulate you more than they used to. Because you're starved off the more full-on stuff.

Looking at just a women's clothes magazine could send us off track, until we get far enough into the reboot process. Which will be different for us all. Happy new year :)

It really depends on the person. Though 30 days would be a very quick reboot. 30 days would be more like a taste of a better lifestyle in my opinion... And then hopefully one would have seen the benefits, and want to keep going.

From what I've read on here, the first 30 days are the biggest challenge. But there are still more benefits to be had in the long term. Even after 90 days. But again, the hope is that one will have the drive to keep going at that point, as the benefits should outweigh any urges.

So many variables too. Your age, when you started, how many hours a week spent on it, and how little time you give to porn substitutes during a reboot. Best to just go and keep going!

You r right at your side but Nofap say go for 90 days and even 90 days r not enough for some people because everyone has different kind of addiction and its severity. So according to my own experience you should not compare your recovery from others because everyone has different methods for treating it.
And remember even after initial recovery one should not look at porn not even for single second.
For Complete recovery it takes 1-2 years according to American Addiction Recovery Process.
My advice leave porn and its substitute material forever.
Then enjoy your life to the fullest.
    All d best.

  9. Fellow Indian I see!
Porn is tempting af man. Do not fall into any if those "oh it's just once" traps.

It isn't worth it. If you're going to do nofap, do NOFAP.

    Not SometimesFap or JustthisonceFap

NoFap is about more than not masturbating. It's about clearing your mind of unwholesome images and thoughts. It's about breaking down the instant gratification ci rcuit in your brain.mits about learning to cope with the stress of life without retreating to a fantasy. It's about appreciating women as humans not sexual objects. It's about doing something productive in your life.

None of that healing will truly happen until you fully rid your life of porn and build good habits.

  11. Good question man!
I highly reccommend that you delete it.
Why? When you are on NoFap, you shouldn't be looking at anything sexy. Of course this is just my opinion but let me explain why. I while ago (more than a year ago), I was doing NoFap while I still looked at porn without masturbation. I didn't get any of the benefits that usually come with NoFap. I learned the reason why; when you look at stuff like that, it raises dopamine to extremely high levels in your brain (unnaturally high levels) and reinforces old neural pathways you want to break. You are only cheating yourself. You could "do" 90 days while watching that and you would still be addicted.
In sum, if you are serious about NoFap, delete it.

Thanks a lot brother for such a quick response. It helped.
Anyway I am going to stick on this for the rest 90 days as you said with absolute no stuff on any of my devices.
Also will try to abstain from all triggers that is seemingly sexy.

    Thanks bro.

I realized we r human beings and we conquer things not let porn conquer you.
