  3. Welcome brother 'braindamage' :)

I wish you all the luck, but the fact of the matter is 'luck' has nth do with 'our recovery process'.

It is hard work, persistence, 'never give up attitude', 'faith in oneself' and determination which will sail us through.

And let me tell you again, if I can do this, so can you, and 'goddamn anybody'.

Let the ''dead past bury it's dead''. Start from today, and build yourself '1 day at a time'. Build your 'know-how' in the 'science of porn-addiction'. Understand the science to fight the 'so called beast'. Understand your triggers. Keep a small note for yourself (i have mine) so that you understand, which, when, where and how 'the triggers' make you relapse or makes your life difficult. If possible take 'cold showers' every day (at least once....but twice is recommended). Taking 'cold showers' everyday is a very powerful thing you can do to fight this addiction. Taking a 'cold shower' changes your 'life energies' instantly.....and that's why the 'mind' also realligns itself in a positive direction and not in a 'destructive downward spiral'. I would recommend you to workout everyday (at least for 20 mins....I am myself working out for for the last 3 months), do any kind of meditation (mindfulness will also do) for 20 mins everyday.

And don't worry much, do the right things....and you will be fine. Show them all, that you can overcome this addiction. And thus you will help not only yourself....but thousands of 'men and women' who are on the same boat like you and me.

Your 'success story' will inspire them (including me) a lot, a lot. Believe me. :)

  5. I would like to thank Ymfsm for this invaluable post. We must remember this words everyday, every hour, every minute.

  6. Indeed. Forgetfulness and complacency can sweep inside us all too quickly in this journey.

    One more thing guys!

Never regret that you had a PMO period of your life. With that experience now you know your enemy. Now as you achieved consciousness of your addiction you can start the fight with it, and good news is that you have a huge psychological advantage in that battle. You know your enemy inside out, because you lived with it, you let it win.
But your enemy doesnt know you. It has no clue how tough, how determined and how conscious you are.

Take care of your awareness every single day and you gonna achieve your goals!

  10. 6 weeks.....almost 50% of the ''90 day challenge'' completed....

There is no way.....absolutely no way we can give up now. If anyone gives up now...it won't be a felony....it'll be a crime.

    Nd remember.....1 day at a time. ;):)

    Stay beautiful....

Thank you so much, it was seriously inspirational/useful. I will start today. Start Date : January 11th 2018, End Date : April 11th 2018. I know I can do this though part of me feel sliek I've tried so many times, I pray that I have strong enough reasons to do this.

I have no idea...my goal is lifelong, even making it to just then would be a HUGE accomplishment. One day at a time. Open to suggestions!

The reason why I asked because I believe only the "quitting for ever" attitude leads you to success.

Just imagine. One day 11th of April gonna be here. You will feel yourself proud and if until then you managed to resist, the charming effect of PMO will be huge. Because your mind know exactly that its the time. Now or never. And you will be weak, because you achieved your goal. Maybe you gonna think that you deserve some PMO. And all of your hard work gonna end up nothing.

So be aware my friend! Good luck on your fight!

  17. Mikada, just dropping by to let you know that I am at my personal best amount of nofap days. Now everyday after this I can keep breaking records! I know I’m not gonna relapse anytime soon, but one day at a time. I hope you’re doing well mikada, let’s do it, took me too long to get where I was, so we can’t give up!

  18. I am so happy to hear that. :) You didn't make my day...you made my week.
My personal best was 50 days (and that happened 21 years ago :().
So again....we are kind of in the same boat. And I sincerely believe that.....it's never too late. Almost never.

And yes, I am in a different 'galaxy' now, so 'giving up' is not even in my radar.
