    Hi

I'm a 38 year old guy living in the Canary Islands. I have been addicted to pornography and masturbation since I was 24. I need to kick the habit and I'm looking for support. Why? Because I think is has become obvious to my family what has happened to me although, as yet, thankfully, nothing has been said.

My masturbation has been out of control. Even to the extent of returning home during the day to do it and booking hotel rooms so that I could masturbate without being disturbed.

To be honest - not allowing myself to masturbate and ejaculate has made me anxious. I get a constant urge to access porn on my phone whenever I can. My sex life is non-existent and I need to get it back.

I'm looking for guys in a similar position who wants to support and hopefully I´ll be able to do the same. I'm very open minded and happy to discuss anything with anyone.

Drop me a line........I have Kik for more immediate chats/support

    Thanks

It's always hard, but keep at it and don't panic. You will find much support here. As for being anxious, what is it about not masturbating and not ejaculating is making you anxious?

    I'm new too
you need support? You got plenty of it here at the community
    about the urges
one thing that is currently helping me fight with my urges is to keep coming back to nofap and read the success stories, most of them are really inspiring I suggest you to read them
I wish you luck through your journey
    excuse my poor English

  5. Hey @Canary8062

I'm just a normal ordinary member. No moderator super powers and no special insite. I share my ESH (Experience, Strength and Hope) of what works for me.

Just another warm welcome and a heart felt hello. This community has helped me so much.

What worked for me was "working" it. It took hard work for me to complete a hard reboot (No pmo) for 120 days, then move into a Sex Positive mode.

First, reading the literature published by NoFap itself along with reading journals.

Then, doing the work. Writing in my journal and replying to introductions and other's journals.

Finally, but not least, getting involved with the fellowship. I found it on the forums, but also in people's profiles. The forums tend to be longer posts, where the profiles tend to be more "conversational".

That is what has worked for me. I like to remind myself that this community was here waiting for me with the lights on when I arrived. Now, I have to do my best to be there when someone comes to the community.

PS: Say Hello to a few members. Just open their profile and say "hi" and introduce yourself. You'll find a great community. This is only a short list. There are many many more great people on here.
