One word

Happinness. That's the only thing I can think about at the moment. Funny because most of this process wasn't funny at all, but I feel way more happy everyday than I used to.

I'll list some synonyms just to drill in the meaning of it:

Faith

Not religious faith, just faith in the process and the truth testimonials I've read. Faith and belief that the reboot will be worth it, basically.

 

These are all great, but I'll give the one that has gotten me through my first 40 days: DISCIPLINE. I had to stay grounded in those times of desperate desire. If you can gain the discipline needed to abstain, the process becomes easier (key work easier, not easy) to get through.

 

Hope - Where there's hope, there's life.

 

Real - I abandoned my pointless fantasies (and those placed there by porn) and got out into the real world.

Freedom- Freedom from all that is holding me back from flying!!

 

Freedom.

One word to describe for me will be freedom, because addiction is like a prison and to be able to control and enjoy life is amazing.

WE DO HARD THINGS

 

Commitment.

 

Struggle.

Because that's what it is.

Even if it's for something greater.

 

Reality.

Through it all I lied to myself about where I was and what I was doing. Now I know what I have to do to get things done what I have to do to become the person I've always wanted to be i'm not numbing myself as much anymore. Like in batman begins "You've learned to bury your guilt with anger we will teach you to confront it and face the truth." I've tried at every point to confront the truth guilt and realize that not being in control is fine I can't control everything.
