Need Suggestions For Keeping Up Hard Mode

    37 days ön Hard Mode.My previous best was 43 days but now I want to reach a full year. I am male, single, 25 years. Everytime an arousal comes I talk to myself "NO", "I Won't Do It Ever Again", "This Time I will Reach a full 365 days For Sure","I Will Change the Previous Me That Everyone Made Fun Of",Ï Will Be Mentally Strong","I Will Not Be The Person That No-one Notices"I Will Be The Person Whose Voice Reaches out to Others Sorrounding Me". I resist( or try to resist) my urge of looking to beautiful sexy women on the streets, on advetisement poster, on TVs and videos ( not just porn videos but many harmless youtube videos). I Have seen improvements like mental clarity, I can remember things longer, many previous memories which I thought I've forgotten suddenly comes up to my mind, it feels awesome. My skin has become softer, my voice has become somewhat deeper and my hands have become somewhat larger (Seriously!!!). I can concentrate more on anything I do, be it studying or playing or listening to another person. I can remember what a person says for much longer. Now and then I become aggressive (Which I hardly could become before this hardmode) but not always. Sometimes I feel headache like there's too much pressure inside my head and I dont know what to do. I can't meditate frequently. I sometime think this headache is just my brain healing. I don't go to gym either. Though I do some of 8 Brocade exercise to lessen the frequency of nocturnal emissions. I think I should do much more than these to reach my goals. Please suggest what I have to do to make a PMO Free 1 Year.

  3. What is helping me is that I've specified a clear and tangible goal for why I wanted to stop PMO. Not something vague like 'I want to get better' or 'I want to improve myself' but something concrete. For me the main one is: 'I want to form a meaningful and passionate relationship and have great sex with a rock-hard penis by the end of 2018'. There are a couple of smaller ones but this one keeps me going.

    Then when I feel an urge, I remind myself of my goal and that by PMO'ing I will never achieve it.

  4. Set realistic goals. You are at 37 days which is great, now you should make your next goal 45 days, then make another goal to reach 60 days. After reaching 60, go for 75 days, then 90 days and you should begin to notice positive changes within your self. In my experience the more days I accomplished, the more control over thoughts, urges and temptations, it became easier and obtainable to 'maintain' a growing amount of positive consistency regarding control. I had to learn and gain trust over myself.

    The first 90 days is tough for many. Education is key to overcoming challenges and accomplishing your goals, especially 1 year of hard mode. Learn to recognize your triggers and urges and how to react positively when you are tempted. Don't give them any time or attention and when you do you will learn that you have more power over your thoughts and you will be in complete control. Just tell yourself the longer you abstain and stay committed to reaching your goal, the easier it gets by gaining control over negative thoughts and urges. I wish you the best and do know you can do this! Stay focused and committed and before you know it you'll have reached a point of no return regarding the past and 1 year hard mode will be easier than you think.

    I have headaches aswell! They are not bad but just weird. Like a lighter form of migraine i still have. They also started when i was on nofap. Now i'm on day 40 so i guess it's just from nofap. Since masturbating is a stress releaver. (wich is my little theorie)

    Very modest -- and wise -- for you to ask for advice (in the abundance of counselors there is Victory). We all want you to keep getting more and more Daily Victories.

    Your headaches m-a-y be caused by too much: sugar.......salt.......tight fitting hats.......chemical in air... etc.

    To your 8 Brocade exercise (like Chinese stretching exercises) .... you might add some weight training. Weights (resistance training) will further help relieve stress........ The muscle you will add is like 'body armor'; beneficial and protective for you and your girlfriend/wife.

    And as 'A_victory' basically said above , "set incremental goals (45 days, 60 days, 75 days, etc.)." I would add ..... More rewards [presents] to you = more encouraging. So you could add daily....... weekly....... or 45/60/75 day rewards (dessert, hobby items, trips, new car, new IT gadget, etc.) Theses VISUAL (and VISIBLE) REWARDS will help prompt the behavior you are seeking. You are on the road to Constant Success! Keep up the great work !!!

    I am using an strategy and has been working for me. Plan A reach 1 year. Plan B reach 1 year. Plan C reach 1 year
    Everytime you decide to give up you'll remember that your second plan is not giving up.

    Wao! Day 44. I just beat my previous best of 43 days. Thanks guys for all your inspirational words. I really want to keep going and going further till I reach 365th day mark. Please pray for me that I will be successful. BTW I'm feeling a lot of pressure in my head currently, maybe because I don't do meditation and lots of exercises. Maybe I should meditate more and not to spend more time in front of computer.

  12. That headache could be aswell tension. I got super tension when I quit M 2 years ago. Didnt mediate back then and didnt use supplements for brain.

    Anyway man I think you need to find ways how to cope with tension and stress cause M been working as stress reliever for you for a long time and now you have to find other ways.
