I thought I would share this for anyone having trouble taking this crucial step. I am 2 days into the nofap challenge but I couldn't bring myself to delete the bookmarks of my favorite porn scenes. But I just realized I had to to be free. This challenge is much more than about abstaining. It is about FREEDOM! I also deleted the still photos of women I had on there like Jennifer love Hewitt, Hillary Duff, and others. I feel much better now.

Congrats, but what will stop you from just searching for a porn site when you get the urge? Also you should probably check out k9 filter (http://www1.k9webprotection.com )or something if you use the internet on a computer as well.

Haha, I remember this moment. I didn't want to lose all the 'good stuff'. But I realize now that was the 'worst stuff' because it triggered me the most, it hurt me and the quality of my life the most.
So, congrats for getting rid of them!

Good on you, I did this a couple days ago to all my bookmarks and my sexual roleplays (I am an avid roleplayer. Those roleplays kept me deep in addiction and were crazy as far as fetishes go) so I can imagine how difficult it was for you. I find myself missing them but I am still only a few days in and I'm trying to keep the mindset that Napionder has, that stuff really hurts the quality of life. So congrats on you for taking one of the most important steps forward to not trigger you to sustain your addiction. It really helps me to resist relapse when I see other people doing good.

Thank you. I feel better than I have in a long timeand I've just started on this path. I still get hard occasionally but I'm learning to have willpower for the first time in my life I guess. And I've been alone in the house a lot today and I haven't wanted to so I'm taking that as a positive sign. But I don't want to do anything that might trigger any of you reading this. So I'm just going to try to be a source in of encouragement to everybody with my own story.

It's good to understand our triggers and stay away from them. For me, pictures of pretty girls (fully clothed) was all that was necessary to get me started. So out they went. Each person's triggers are different.

Good move - You are on your way.

Bro if u deleted all stuff doesnt mean u win. i bet u after a month if ull see a pic of chick in fully covered dress then also ull get aroused. if u want to get rid of it then u have to delete it from ur mind. every thing starts from brain. u deleted all stuff from ur phone or pc but whole day u r thinking abt chicks and sex ull get relapsed. if u want to win then u have to gain control on ur thoughts and urges. i m on 75 day i watched lots of sexy beach girls on my pc yesterday but i didnt get aroused. i saw them but not thought abt to fuck them. just watched their beauty and figure that how beautiful those chicks r. change ur thoughts. it was to difficult for me when i was on my first month but slowly i push my brain to change the sights to see. now yesterday i was in market i saw a girl with tight fittings i can see her every curve of ass. i enjoyed the view lots but i didnt get aroused. because i didnt saw her sexually. to rewire ur brain only abstaining is not the job ull have to change ur views and have to clear ur mind. it will take some time and effort. the first step is stop thinking erotic. whenever thought come force ur brain to think something else whatever thought is availabe just replace it. ull feel more relaxed. if u have faith on u then u can do anything to get succese. just believe in urself and fight hard.

thank you for that advice. I know that you know what you're talking about because I can see your counter. And today at church was the first time in a long time that I didn't stare at attractive women. when I even saw a glimpse of something that would make me stay here before, like nice hips or an attractive face, I averted my gaze. this is war. I had in mind a verse of scripture from Proverbs 4:25-27, which talk about looking straight ahead, not turning to the right or the left and ignoring all sideshow distractions. and now as I look at the clock and see that this day today, Sunday October 26th, is almost over, it will be the first weekend that I haven't fapped since August 15.it's a small victory, but one that I am cherishing nonetheless
