I have betrayed my loved ones

PMO has made me take certain actions that I feel bad for. I am 23 and have never had a successful relationship. My mum is now beginning to think something is wrong and is pushing me to find a girl. I always use the 'i am not ready excuse'. But I know I've been single all this while not because I'm not ready but because PMO has screwed my life. Yesterday a close friend of mine was having a naming ceremony for his new born. Days before, I promised him I will be present. But I couldn't go because I had relapsed and was feeling very bad with myself. I feel I've betrayed him too. I know I have to stop pmo. Have been trying for the past 4 years. I just don't know how to stop. I don't want to betray anyone again. Help me Lord.

You can do it. After a couple of weeks, it will get easier.

You just need to start by stepping in the right direction. Determine what situations you are in that makes you feel like you want to pmo. Then avoid those situations! Thats the first step!

I really feel for you. Just remember that you made great progress and this is only a small setback in the bigger picture of your life. I know you can get back on track

You can do it man. One thing that's been helping me is my constant search for knowledge about the negative effects of porn. Keep learning about the effects it has on you (books, videos, the forum, etc) and that should help tremendously.
