im not an expert on women I was really lonely at one point as well it passed eventually and I would download social media so I could meet women but it lead to relapse a lot so I got rid of the

To be honest I never had much of a confidence problem or anxiety I mean don’t get me wrong I did feel less confident and shit sometimes but my problem was more of lack of energy I didn’t talk to women not because I was afraid but more didn’t feel it was worth the energy but once when I didn’t masturbate and watch porn I think i was free of it for roughly a month I start chatting up this chick at a bus stop didn’t feel shy at all but cause I’m not use to those situations i kinda fucked it up and didn’t ask for her number and all that so yeh I guess when I have the energy I’ll make an effort and that’s why I want to progress in this journey so I can get back that energy

 

First of all, I don't want to sound harsh or like a douche, but I think we can see a major problem of the NoFap community here. A lot of people expect like a magical solution for all their problems by stopping to watch porn and masturbating.

What did you expect? That only because you talk to different women, they will automatically want to be around you all the time? Don't get me wrong: It's awesome, that you have contact to a lot of women! That's a great start! Many of us don't even talk to women on a regular basis, me included. But it takes more than some small talk to get women interested in you.

Again, what did you expect? Also, 20 days is a big step in ones recovery process, but it's nothing compared to how long you where addicted to porn. You don't get cured in just 20 days. It takes a lot longer and therefore you should not expect benefits so early in the process. Things will become easier and better, but it takes time and effort.

Well, altough I'm not very experienced myself, this is probably not how stuff works. Women don't just randomly message you and ask to hang out. As far as I'm concerned, women usually expect men to ask them. Also, even if they make the first step, they would probably not ask to hang out immediately.

I think, you really have to work on your expectations, man. Good things will come and NoFap will make things much easier. But nothing happens automatically. You'll have to earn it.

Let me ask you a question, when you talk to these girls at work, are you listening for cues?

i.E. "Oh yeah, I heard that movie is good, I want to see that!" That is basically her telling you, "Ask me to go see it because I will say yes!" Another example, "My friend bailed on me this weekend. I don't really want to just sit at home...." AKA, "If you ask me out, I will say yes because I don't want to kick it at home."

Chicks don't blatantly come out and say it. They want you to pursue them. It is human nature but they will give you hints. When I had my longest streak of 60+ days, I felt like Mel Gibson in What Women Want. I was picking up on cues like a beast and basically could read their mind. Then I fapped and haven't been able to get a good streak going again.

Don't break your streak just because you are frustrated. IT IS NOT WORTH IT!

I think those people were going to get that anyway. confidence might have given them a little extra push. Just 7-14 days? Well that would be pretty miraculous. I can't see that as stereotypical. And they tons of guys that aren't seeing such results .. ((crickets)) because they don't have anything they want to brag about. Nofap also tells me people aren't as interested in you when you fap because of your color and you have less appeal yada yada. I Believe abstaining is key yes, to your own inner health, but it doesn't mean people are going to avoid or ignore you because you seem a little off lol! I actually got more self-contious when people said on here that there is such a HUGE difference in how people treat you. Too much pressure when clean and too much negative even not.

I'd recommend disconnecting the number of the days with the result.

There's really no clear rule and everyone has a different story. Age, number of years fapping, the intensity of someone's addiction, etc. I hadn't been asked out in over a year. This weekend I got asked out twice and it's been almost 80 days. I wouldn't get attached to the number or associate Nofap directly with getting women.

Nofap won't just make women attracted to you. It will help you in a number of ways that will certainly make you more attractive, but there are no hard and fast rules. So instead of getting caught up in what you think should happen, maybe focus on just beating your addiction and improving other areas of your life. Once you do that I'm absolutely sure you'll find a partner!
