My First Week

It has been almost a week since I stopped watching porn. Before that I was watching porn and masturbating everyday. The last time I made a week without porn was a long time ago.
First of all I know that one week is not enough and I'm done yet, I still have a long journey to walk through in order to recover completely.

But let me tell you some points that changed and that I noticed this week since I stopped.

• When we take the decision of recovery that is not enough, we have to change some habits that we do everyday in order to help us in the recovery. So for example I used to get to bed late everyday and most probably that's the time when I usually watch porn. So I changed that and last week and I go to bed at 12 or 1 am max.

• Also I try to stay away from porn by all means. I try not to stay alone for a long time and when I feel that I could relapse I call one of my friends and talk with him about anything. Maybe sometimes I go out for a walk or have a little run. All that stuff helped me not to relapse.

• Another thing, I try to be here regularly, people here are super helpful. On my 4th day I was about to relapse. But before I did that I came here and I wrote that I need help and I 'm about to relapse, People here gave me some tips that actually helped me a lot to overcome that tough day.

• Another very important thing is that I recall and remember the pain and the misery porn and masturbation caused me and how I felt after every time I do that.

As I said, I'm not recovered yet I still have a very long and tough journey. I hope I could do it and overcome the coming weeks, I know they will be painful but I will do my best.

Thank you, I'm glad to meet you too. Yes, here I feel that I can express myself and get help from others who have the same problem. So I guess I should stick here a lot. I hope that I could pass the next few weeks as they will be tough for sure.
