Hard mode how long?

I wouldnt say forever. At least until you meet that "special" someone. If youre on this site then you have a problem with PMO and I advise monk mode for MINIMUM 2 years, based on the scientific research on these types of addictions that overuse the dopamine/reward system.

 

Try more than 100 days, theres were i found the benefits

 

I've been in hard for 116 days now. Better but far from cured... 37 yo -> 17+ years of addiction. I'll have sex when opportunity arises, but won't push it. MB is a no go for me anymore. Too much abusive behavior to control it.
Be prepared to go trough headaches, anxiety, depression, wild mood swings, but it's all worth it. Better to be in pain and alive then in not living numbness PMO produces.

 

90 days is considered a standard reboot for most people, however it is most important to cleanse your mind of dirty thoughts instead of focusing on the number of days. As others have stated, it depends on few factors:

1) How long have you been addicted? It takes time to heal your addiction
2) Do you have PIED (Porn Inducted Erectile Dysfunction?) If so, that also needs time to heal

Many men are healing from PMO with the goal of achieving their goal so they can have successful sex lives with a girlfriend.

My advice: Go for 120 days since that's what you want to achieve then when you reach there, you can re-assess your goals on whether if it's met or not.

I will advice you to go for hard mode at least for one year. You can find a suitable partner for yourself during this period but do not ingage in sex till completion of 1 year otherwise you will not feel the gains of this rebooting process...

 

What happened to the standard 90 day process?

 

It has some benefits, i tried it once and relapsed that finish day, im glad i choosed to double this time (180) and the benefits are much more, but since day 100 i felt rebooted

 

Relapsed in what way? Did you have a chaser effect after sex?
