  1. Thought I would share this from my log

    Day 54

Haven’t looked at p for what is now quite a long time. Brain I think is playing tricks on me about my memory of doing so. I find myself thinking this nofap is easy and did I have a problem in the first place at all?

When I read of all the struggles others have on an almost day to day basis, I have had it fairly easy in comparison. Apart from the first twenty or so days it hasn’t been that bad. Sex with my oh has helped and no more mr nice guy has allowed me to put some of my behaviours in perspective.

Productivity and creativity at work is still through the roof and getting so much done thanks to nofap and that’s a reminder this is working and effective for me and that yes, I really did have a problem.

Had breakfast with the ceo of a rather large company yesterday who ask me to come and lead one of his business areas at an executive director level with a mandate to transform the organisation to a digital workplace.

Very big role but I’m up for it and have no doubts I can do it. Nofap couldn’t have come at a better time because I’m going to need all the creativity and productivity I can get.

Congrats on the opportunity at work! Congrats on success with your no porn journey!

First time I did no porn I went 9 months and it came pretty easy to me. It really transformed my life, I felt great about myself, had good energy, improved my sex life and things were going really well. I just did the no porn thing because I saw a friend of mine do it and I wanted the changes he had. I never admitted I was a porn addict, never used any of the resources here, just did my own thing and it wasn't that hard. Since I didn't think it was that big of a problem I started watching porn again... and that was 2.5 years ago. For the last 2.5 years I've been trying to get the magic back that I had during those 9 months. I've been trying to manage my porn habit while also dating, and trying to manage my porn habit and still meditate, exercise, find a career, etc. I finally realized that porn is a big problem preventing me from reaching my potential and living the life I want.

So now I've joined this forum and I'm going to do everything to beat this addiction and be porn free for life. I know my life will be better.

Thanks for sharing your success. Keep at it!

Thanks for sharing this and congratulations on everything.

You should not reset your counter as NoFap is trying to get you to have sex with a real person and not some pixels on a screen. So you're on the right path as long porn isn't involved. Goodluck
