I've always been straight, and homosexuality isn't what I'm going to talk about here. What's been weird is that ever since I discovered PMO I have fapped almost exclusively to fantasies of becoming a sexy woman. For the most part I have no real desire to have this happen to me, but at times as time has gone on even when I'm not aroused it seems perfectly natural even though it never has before. However, I haven't really thought about it in about 3 days of abstinence. Is it a common phenomenon for PMO addictions to cause sexuality alterations?

Dude, I actually found www.yourbrainonporn.com while searching for a question similar to this... I was addicted to sissy videos, the hypno ones and especially anything amateur.

Anyway, I decided I wanted out when I realised I had porn induced ED and I ended up here, and I've never looked back. I've been going for 13 days now, and I haven't even thought about crossdressers or sissies once. I have read/watched a fair few sources on the issue of pornography addiction and I believe it is quite common for it to cause sexuality alterations. You just have to remember that you're not actually attracted to the content, but the novelty of it. It's so much more extreme than normal porn that it satisfies your addiction which, at this point, has spiralled out of control.

Good luck man, we can beat this together. Already today I have noticed more attraction to real-life females thank I have known in years.

Probably one of my biggest issues is what you're experiencing. My sexual desires have gone down paths I never wanted them to, never though they would, and I can't seem to stop it.

At first, when you find that new thing you never thought you'd never like, your brain gets that high you get from any other number of substances. Then shame comes (at least for me it did) but I eventually would repeat that cycle over and over again until that thing I didn't think I liked became normal and all I wanted to watch.

I wonder how this has effected my sex drive with my wife. I honestly don't feel like I have the energy to put sexual interest into her, even though when we try (probably only a few times a month) I am usually okay, it's just that it's so much easier and my brain gets hit so much harder when I am watching things that wouldn't even get me in a real life situation that it's removed my desire for sex in real life.

This has been a huge struggle for me and I'm hoping getting away from porn puts me more in line with the person I think I am.
