I can relate for the spiritual reasons, I applaud you on the 60 days. Keep your will strong friend. People are here that care. I am almost tempted once per day. I'm only on day 21. But have been on this journey since August. Keep a journal and inspire people with your kind words and what tempts you.

I'm sure it will help me through this. Its Friday night and I'm home alone. I'm here because peoples struggles and motives keep me strong to stay on course.

If you have made it this far, it would be silly to give in now. Maybe something triggered it that you need to carefully consider. I recently started believing there is more to life than our selfish desires.
It took a lot of mistakes for me to get here. Don't let a bad day get the best of you.

Write why you are tempted! I noticed here there is no shame in letting your emotions out, it is the best therapy.

    keep it up!

    Matt.

  3. I'm tempted today more than others because I'm feeling sorry for myself for being single and not knowing how to live a Christian life. I want to go back to what I know.

    Thanks for the encouragement.

I wouldn't count that as one, I've done it in bed after waking up. As long as its not intentional, and your not looking at porn.

Even if it was intentional, the fact that you have to reset your counter is demotivating.

I can say I live in a Christian way, I used to go to a Christian church. But I cant call myself anything right now. But I truly believe in the message in the bible, and other holy books and teachings.

Keep your counter at 60 because, when you hit ninty days it is rewarding. Knowing that you hit 90 days can give you stength to go longer. And maybe masterbating to non sexual thoughts if possible. It is not recommended as it tends to trigger flashbacks and need to look at porn. But remember it is matter of faith, and will power. You should know because you hit 60 days.

And as for living a single life. I am on the exact same page. Alone at home, on my computer. The temptation will always be there. You are not alone. We just need to find like minded people which is not easy. And that's why you chose this site. Things do happen for a reason.

Don't give in, my best wishes are with you.

    Matt.
