Today I've beaten my noFap record with 34 days, worked out for months, adapted my diet, sleep schedule...

I decide to go shopping and this girl from my childhood come up to me with some of her friends. I thought I could handle some basic talking, but damn... I got so surprised by seeing her, and I almost had no words in front of her. I felt scared of talking, just like when you talk to a very cute girl, because there was one.
So, I talked so anxiously I could barely smile, it felt obvious I was shy and wanted to escape conversation...
Seriously, this after 34 days feeling so well and I had better days with small talking...

What the fuck happened.. after 34 days, 2 hypnotherapies, maintaining high testosterone I get this...? Where were the noFap benefits ?

  2. Nofap isn't the answer for everything. It's a healthy way of living and in general you feel better pretty much in every way. It's a great boost for the journey, but additional work is needed.

  3. Are you saying if all we do is abstain and do no PMO, nothing will change much? Why is that you think?

I know, and this boost can make it more frustrating...
When you have so much energy/libido, you see girls and people organizing parties and you can't fucking get invite because you're still too socially anxious.

What have I fucking done with myself...

You'll only be hungry for Victory and rush through what you got to do to progress. Slowly, your life will improve but you still have to endure punches in the face.

  5. No. I'm saying that nofap doesn't cure cancer. We can't expect to become invulnerable just because we stop touching ourselves and looking at porn. However, doing so does make a remarkable difference, enables us to improve and makes improving and healing easier. Social skills need work and practice too.

  6. Yeah I know that feeling. We get better every time, we just need to remember that and not get discouraged, whatever it is that we want to achieve.

  7. I think you may be confusing anxiety with nervousness. Being nervous around the opposite sex is normal. I would get anxious just walking through a store, and having to talk to the person at the check out when I was deep in my addiction. And although 34 days is extremely hard to do, and great for you, you're still pretty early in reboot. The average amount of time that I have seen people who have been addicted to PMO on here is around 10 years. 10 years to 34 days... Don't let your addiction take advantage of your normal moments of weakness to try and convince you that quitting isn't worth it!

Eddy 7: It's normal. During the reboot, you will have periods when you are super social and you will have periods when you want to be alone and isolate yourself. The brain is rewiring itself. It will get better, be patient.

@maidenslaved Actually I've been addicted for 6 years, all this time it was quite hard for me to go above 14 days, so I couldn't fully enjoy the benefits. Thanks for support!

Also thank you guys, your replies prevented me from doing something I wouldn't want to do: give up. I'll keep fighting for now.

  10. I understand what you guys mean, life will still have it’s downs and we have to still face them, but will nofap give us thicker skin, more able to take those punches. Punches hurt less on nofap?

Of course, you become more able to face real life.
I can tell you're definitely getting back in action faster when you're full of your natural energy.

Hey bro don’t worry man, I’m in the same boat as well dude. I went 33 days then relapsed. I was seeing improvements a few days before where I would think of a hot woman and get a semi erection and everything and finally starting to feel sane then all of a sudden I had no libido and terrible anxiety that I relapsed and it was the worse ever because I didn’t even get erected and I came in like 10 secs so yea fuck that but I’m going to go on another streak and even if you relapse (but ofcourse don’t ever binge ) you still make progress. I’m sure that if we go hardmode 90 days we could probably start having sex again and atleast last 10-15 mins and I’m pretty sure your social anxiety and performance anxiety would fade as well. even after 90 days you can’t watch porn or masturbate. I’m sure you can masturbate once in a while but don’t combine it with porn after you reach your goal. Just have to be patient man. It feels like it’s taking forever because we are forming new habits that we arent use to. Good luck bro. You’ll get there as long as you try hard and ABSTAIN
