Can someone clearly explain flatline and all its details?

    I keep reading about flatline, but am not understanding what it is. It seems to be something im gonna expect, but scary :p

    I went through a flatline about 2 weeks ago. Basically, for me anyway, it manifested as a feeling of lethargy and tiredness, anxiety, and a sense of hopelessness. It lasted for about 4 or 5 days, so this phenomenon is only transitory, thank God. Once you get past it things start looking up and the mood brightens considerably.
