Hey all, new to NoFap out of need, and hope I’m in the right place. I’ve been single most of my life, with the exception of one relationship, who was my only sexual partner. It’s been years since I’ve had sex (which wasn’t much back then either). I’ve masturbated more so out of habit since then (and for most of my adult life), and inadvertently become addicted to it. Now I’ve met a great woman, things are moving fast both physically and emotionally, and I can’t perform in bed. I either can’t orgasm from oral or get soft when trying to penetrate. Hoping that a hard reboot will help, but also don’t want to test the patience of the new relationship, as sex is important to her. We’ve been very open in communicating, and I’m able to please her in other ways, but her being able to get me off and us being able to have intercourse are important to her as well. Hoping someone in here has overcome a similar experience and might be able to offer some help. This woman is amazing on all levels and I really don’t want to lose her because I used to masturbate too much and can’t perform. TIA!

Hey there!... Welcome... I believe this is an awesome place. Just devote time to it and check out people's experiences on the search tab. Type in keywords and read up. I'm not really experienced concerning what you're going through but I'm sure there are people on this platform who are, so check around... Welcome once again... (I talk a lot)

Hello @ad86, I wish you the best. You are the one who can decide about your challenges. To be able to do that, I recommend you to check the resources: https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/new-users-list-of-rebooting-resources.50878/. I found this one particulary good: https://www.nofap.com/rebooting/. Also, TED's talks about porn addiction are very useful.

Once you have understood how your brain works with your problem, you are ready to set your challenges and decide if it is PM or PMO what you need to avoid.

Welcome! You have arrived to the right place
