Hello guys, I need help, so I'm on 10 days of nofap, longest was 17 days, last night I had a dream, it wasn't even a sexual dream, I was angry at something, then as I was waking up I felt myself ejaculate, funny, the semen actually came out. Is this a relapse, do I have to start over. It wasn't in my control, I didn't choose for it to happen. I read somewhere where it said sperm has an expiration date, the old sperm has to be released through wet dreams and healthy sperm is kept, is my experience part of it? Or do I have to start over? Does this slow down my recovery in any way?

I would say in many ways.. is it actually so bad to treat it as a relapse? everyday is a new day.. and in addiction in reality we have to learn to be happy we have remained clean today!
In my personal journey I know im over 40 days.. and yes I have one eye on that but my concern is about how Iam or am not feeling change in my mentality rather than just counting days.

I have had 2 sex dreams lately.. they have only just started happening in my semi conscious dream state... and at times Im engaging with them but havent cum as yet.. something stops me... maybe a good sign!

I guess its up to you what you count as a relapse in many ways.. if the fact that you are seeing these dreams through if you like is anything to go by then stay on the horse and in time perhaps your auto pilot will cut in when these dream occur.
Dont be disheartened.. its a process!

Generally a wet dream is not a relapse, as you can't control it. You even mention that you didn't remember dreaming about anything sexual. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes I won't treat it as a relapse, I guess it's just part of the process, thank you.
