A lot of fapstronaunts seems to be concerned about holding a streak and not breaking it.
and as i noticed it go by challenges of 7-14-30-60 so on...

But this approach has a serious con:
if you relapse, you start from 0 again.
so the higher you go, the harder you fall.

    I suggest the next approach:
Monthly average relapse rate (MARR? MPMO rate?)
i found out that its a great challenge for me to break the 7 day streak, i was frustrated but i tried over and over again.
i noticed that even though i cant break the 7 days streak, my PMO rate decreased from 30-50 times a month, to 4-5(!!!) times a month, a huge fucking improvement.
so if you manage to go 14 days at a time, you basically PMO just twice a month.

so 4 small streaks are better then 1 long streak that will knock you down after one relapse.

    Thoughts?

I think this method is useful for people who is having difficult time to complete even 7 days,
They could start 2 days , then 2 days, then 2 days, then 2 days, then 3 days, then 3days, gradually increasing.

This is basically like a tips for beginner in exercise ,
You dont ask them to run 20 miles a day,

Instead you ask them to run 1 mile a day for a week,
    then gradually increasing.

While in the exercise , our body gradually get stronger to increase the mile.
I wonder if it would be the same thing for our mind if we use this method for NoFap.

    Interesting ...

I understand what you are trying to say and i completely agree with you. In my experience what worked best for me was tracking my streak for 2 weeks then on then the following week after that I would just stop caring about the number and just adopt the mindset that I am someone that just does not PMO anymore. I had no idea that i was currently on 163 until i made my first post and counted the days using google. However that first couple weeks when it is the hardest it is very comforting knowing you are not alone and checking forums such as these to share initial progress.
