I've read that the body needs to cleanse itself of the dopamine overload from too much PMO. So when it that supposed to happen and what should I be looking for?

Dopamine is a neuron. Every neuron has neuroplastic function that rebuild itself. To rebuild itself you should be away from more porn. So, what I recommend according what I have learned: body activities like exercise, cognitive actions like reading a book, talking to a friend... In summary: be away from a situation that my mind remind me to PMO.

I am pretty clueless about doapmine. I think the dopamine receptors get de sensitized to more subtle things like a nice breeze or a walk. And I need PMO to feel anything at all. Everything else feels numb to me.

So when I go off PMO. A walk actually feels like something. Seeing a cool cloud in the sky makes me smile again. I am not so numb to the world. Feelings return. I can enjoy things of less dopamine intensity.

Even just taking a nice breath of fresh air feels good. Seeing a bird feels good. Seeing the neighborhood cat or an interesting bug feels good.

But then when I touch my d--- again everything else feels numb again in comparison. No other sensations can produce the same dopamine so I lose interest in all else beside PMO.

I stop PMO again and gain interest in other things again. Etc.

Makes sense, though I wonder if/when I will begin to not be numb! Almost three weeks into a reboot and nothing really feels any different other than urges, when they happen, are more powerful. Maybe I'm in a flatline period?

This helped me in some strong urges, and literally stopped me in my tracks.

Its not a 3 weeks process bro. Be prepared for some more time. Our brain chemistry has been damaged by PMO, Give it some time. All the best:)
